You can sign your name however you want. They rarely even check your ID. They’ll probably laugh if you pull out a marriage certificate.
When you go in they ask you if you are married and if you are they won’t require proof. I got married in June had my son in August and I hadn’t gotten my new SS card yet and they didn’t ask for proof but they ask for SS# to verify your name is a match when they send in all the paperwork because your babies SS card will be made up from that information you give for the Birth certificate. You may want to call the hospital and find out the local policy on it.
I dont see why not
From what I understand you can give the child whatever last name you want. I think you will be fine.
I’m not sure but if you haven’t changed your information by the time you go to the hospital, you will be registered under your maiden name and I don’t think you can sign another name on the birth certificate.
Your wedding is this week, are you going on a honeymoon? If you are, I’m assuming you’ll be away a week to 10 days, you should be changing your info as soon as you return. If you do, you should have all the proper i.d to sign with your married name by the time your baby comes in Nov. If you are not going away, start the process next week.
