I believe she feels claustrophobic with her clothes on and feels free with them off. I hate wearing polo necks, they make me feel like I am choking. Maybe she just needs to learn that when she can run around in the nuddy and when she has to wear clothes. Have you asked the nurses at the maternal health clinic. Good luck. Happy New Year.
my 22mo old is like that, too – i’m pretty hardy but right now i’m trying not to shiver (it’s -30C with the windchill) and she refuses to wear pajamas and keeps kicking off the blankets!
nah, i don’t think so. i was always really hot as a kid and into my early teens. my mom said she was the same way. felt good to take cold showers and everything. i wouldn’t worry, she most likely will ‘grow out of it’.
My toddler is the same way. She’s 25 months and even when we turn down the heat at night to like 69, she hates to wear pajamas with a lot of cloth and she throws off the blankets. I’m bundled with a long sleeve shirt and sweats and a quilt and she’s hanging out in the breeze. It’s totally insane.
some people are like that, just make sure the clothes are available if needed.
I would ask the Dr. about pain threshold so you know if she would damage her self with being outside too long without knowing she was getting hurt.
