What should I write on a baby shower card?

My cousin who lives on the opposite side of the country as I do is having a baby shower this weekend and I can’t be there. Even though I haven’t seen her in person in years, I would like to send a card. Would that be too weird?? If not, what kind of card should I send and what should I write in it? Might include a babies r us gift card as well.

That wouldn’t be weird! That’s actually very thoughtful and sweet of you. I would send a baby shower card and say you wish you could be there, and congratulate her on her pregnancy. You don’t have to say too much, just sending the card (and maybe gift card) speaks volumes of itself.
keep the card simple, say something like "congratulations on becoming a mummy" and include either a gift card or a small pair of newborn mittens.
