What should I do to make me look older in public?
I know it’s weird, but when I’m in public people always think I’m younger than I actually am because I’m kinda short. The other day we were at a carnival and there was an age guessing game and they guessed I was 10. I’m 12!!!! Then today, we were at a muesuem and my mom got me a childs ticket which is ages 3-9!! At the hair place, they make me sit in the booster seats. And when we’re out to eat, some waitress girl asked me if I wanted face painting!!! I was like no thanks. She’s like come on! It’s ages 3- 10!! I was so pissed!! So… how do I make myself look older. I know kinda dumb question.., but please answer. (Like makeup, haircuts, clothes… etc.) I’m not that short I’m like 4′ 10.

I was actually going to answer this, but I’ve changed my mind after seeing your attitude – you’re not even old enough to be on this site, let alone use words like you have been in your added details. And calling someone gay is offensive. That, and the fact that you announce ‘everybody else will report you too’ highlights your immaturity. You need to grow up, little girl.
you’re not that bad anyways im 18 and some ppl dont believe me when the y ask me how old am and say im 18 they say i llook like 15 and well yeah make up your hair do that just might make you look older
Its okay, I’m really short and for a while, people thought I was 8 when I was your age. Later on it just got to be a year younger. Don’t try to look older, because people think you’re younger, you’ll look odd. Like when a 7 year old carries a purse. Just wait a while. Just think: You’re saving your mom money =)
If i was you i wouldnt worry about wanting to grow up so fast. Getting called young is a good thing really. I get the same thing im 20 and i still get IDed so its not a big deal
im 17 and 5’3 and 5’4 with hair up . yeah it sucks i was like you but wait till you get older things will change.
Go get a haircut, it can make a world of difference. Ask the lady to make your facial features more defined. If your parents are okay with it buy some makeup. Like brown eye liner, light pink blush, and some shimmery eye shadow. Try to dress older too, I get a lot of fashion tips from glamor magazine. Enjoy being young!! I am 22 almost 23 and I have been asked for my ID at the movies because I was going into a rated R movie when the age limit is 18 or older. But don’t try to dress like you are older because you are not and you will get unwanted attention from people a lot older then you. Try light make-up and a new cute haircut. When you get old you will appreciate how many people will think you look younger!!
oOoh…i had the same problem. try some black eyeliner and try to change the clothes u wear. dont start dressing like ur grandma, but try wearing more mature clothes. Try to avoid sparkly makeup, clothes etc also. anyways, the black eyeliner will definately do the trick. u’ll look like 13 or 14

I think the youngest I’ve been called was ten and I’m years older than that. I’ve been old I had a baby type face, meaning young looking, and at times it does seem good because I save some money on things but at other times it is a pain to be carded. All I can say is that embrace what you can but make sure people know when you can’t take it. Trying to look older will just make people think you’re a little kid trying to grow up to fast when you’re not.

i honestly like girls that dont wear make-up and look more natural so i guess do something with your hair? and for clothes- im sorry but i have no idea. just dress how you like and i guarentee you’ll always feel 10 times better than if you arent comfy and dressing like someone you’re not.

Honey, your petite. I spent most of my life being the "cute kid". I’m now 38 and am thanful that I’ve always looked so young. The difference between 10 and 12 is so minimal. Relax. You will grow up and mature. Don’t be in such a rush. Your childhood is so short. Just enjoy it.
It’s not bad. You’ll be happy that you look younger when your like 30. I’m 20 and people think I’m 15.
