what do you think about babies and children wearing designer clothes?

Is it cool, a waste of money or morally wrong? What u think?

yeah,try that kinda once a month,you could make your baby/childs cuter,and beside,you could show them their cute cloths when they are bigger in the future(oh yeah,show them the pictures too(you could pick a photo with’em))
Aren’t all clothes made by designers?
Seriously though, I think ‘designer’ clothes are a waste of money for anybody and they’re usually quite ugly.

A big waste of money! Childen couldn’t possibly appreciate what they are wearing as an adult would. Besides, they grow so fast it would only be worn for a short while.
A waste of money. Children grow so quick! Also that it a recipe to disaster just wait till there teenagers
If those people have the money to waste then its up to them but people you know who have little do it are so silly and it looks silly the children don’t care what they wear its only what they are brought up with my son is happy without brand names as long as he is clean and tidy who cares
If the parents can afford to dress their kid in designer clothes, then so be it. I only have a problem with it if the kid is wearing great clothes but hasn’t eaten in two days. It’s like when people have really nice cars, but they can’t pay their rent. If you’ve got the green, then use it.

I think it’s silly. Kids grow out of stuff so quickly that there’s no point spending loads of money on clothes for them. Also, they’re only likely to get them dirty. Kids don’t care what they look like and there are some perfectly good, nice cheap clothes out there.
If you can afford it, go for it. If you pick the right outfit, they’ll look good anyway. Yes it’s cool, waste of money??? I think not necessarily some stuff is better quality than the cheaper clothes. I vary with my kids, some stuff is expensive designer, others are general labels etc. Morally wrong….thats daft!!! Make your own decision, you know what is right for your little one.
If the family has the money and its a normal thing in their house, sure. But if the baby dresses more expensively than the parents, something is out of wack. I understand loving your child, but going broke to buy that $200 dress isn’t helping anyone. If the parents have a huge income and money isn’t a big issue (Hollywood types, rich and famous, people with fat trust accounts), then who cares? Its there money. I personally refuse to buy my kids anything that costs more than the identical type of item in my size. So I’ll spend $30 on a top, but I refuse to spend $80, even if they do think its cute!
The child won’t know if it’s some big name designer or not. The parent may feel they have something to prove by purchasing the expensive stuff when really cute and functional clothes can be found at a reasonable price. So, it’s a waste of money. Morally wrong, only if you parade your child around with an uppity attitude. Are you still going to spring for the expensive things as he/she gets older?
It’s a game. We give our kids a set amount to shop for clothes. If they want a big ticket item and it takes 75% of their money, that’s their choice. I stress to them that it’s just a way to play the "game".

waste of money.. even if you can afford it why not give the money to ppl who have a hard time buying warm clothes for their kids!!!kids are not show ponies
its up to you if you have the money its cool but they will grow out of them quickly so dont put yourself in debt
i think it depends on how old they are, for babies and small childen i think it’s a waste of money, there are lots of pretty not so expensive clothes and they can only wear it ones or twice before they grew out of it, but that’s the choice of the parents of course, now my kids are older and they also wear brands sometimes but i never bought that when they were that little
Personally I thinks its a waste of $$, but hey if you got the $$ then why not. But they are only children and what to normal children do is get dirty, and now that would just be a waste of $$ if you put your child in designer clothes.

i think it is a waste of money they only wear it for a couple of months and then you have to give it away id rather spend my money on something else or saving it for when they are a little bit older when they really are gonna want all the designer clothes
