How about thier ’1st Piggy Bank’?
Or a chair….just for them that they will eventually fit in. Like a tiny upholstered chair.
Or..I college fund beginning. I know I’m not that rich tho, haha
Or….. pictures for a year that are taken every 3 months at the baby photo place.
Or….hmmm, it’s starting to get tough…..hmmmmm.
Oh! My hubby just said to get them a Piggy Bank and put a dollar in it. I never thought of the dollar thing. And you can put it in an envelope and write on it that it was baby’s first dollar and who it was from!!!
I can’t think of anything else right now but I am going to put this on my ‘remember thingy’.
Good luck! And have fun with the young uns.
When you find out let me know I’m in the same boat and I’m their mother! LOL

JUST 1 TOY AND 1 SET OF CLOTHES OR PJ’S AND PUT THE MONEY YOU WOULD OF SPENT IN THE BANK FOR THEM. THEY SHOULD EACH HAVE THEIR OWN SAVINGS ACCOUNTS.

We have a 2 1/2 year old son. And all of my family is out of state. They send a few toys, clothes and money. I started him a savings acct thru ING Direct. Great interest rates, that are going up all the time. Better than regular banks. And it is something he’ll always have. You can do it online. Their customer service on the phone is wonderful also.

Open up a 529 college savings plan for them. Even if you put $20.00 in it initially, it will grow and grow! They will remember you when college time comes around!

DVDs of their favorite shows.
Well just because most people do, you do NOT have to over shop. Small children usually get tired of opeaning, and want to play with the paper, or the first thing they get. You can get them One or Two new toys, or movies, and I imagine your friends and family are going to get them plenty… If you simply want to shop, then go out to the store, and buy toys to donate…
Your question can be best answered at this Christmas Blog at http://christmas4all.blogspot.com where you can find ample Christmas Gift suggestions….
If they dont need anything then dont get anything. They don’t even know what’s it’s all about anyway.
