Is she already walking? If not I wouldnt recommend any shoes at this time. Shoes at this age can affect her arches and affect walking.

Air Force Ones from Foot Locker or Foot Action
90 bucks a pair
Is she walking yet??? If not, it will be much easier for her to learn barefoot, or with something very soft on her feet (socks).
I prefer Stride Rite shoes for those first learning months, but I wouldn’t buy them online. If you can find a store, they can make sure the size and width is right.
Anything with good support around the ankle and moderate cushioning in the sole is recommended.
None until after the baby starts walking and needs the protection for her feet while outside, or away from home.
unless she is walking she does not need shoes cause it slows their development but if you think she really needs shoes go for the lighest softst shoes you can find
Robeez are great. Both my kids use them, my daughter is 3 and still wearing them. They are great when they are learning to walk. It’s almost like being barefoot.
Robeez are great for that age. They come in all kinds of designs and are roughly the same as letting the ids walk barefoot. They’re much more like moccasins than shoes. Everyone I know swears by them for the first 18 months. Both our boys wore them until they were really walking and running. ’bout 30-40 bucks a pair.
Well since its the summer I would go with some nice white or pink sandals. For something more athletic try footlocker/kids footlocker and buy a nice pair of Nike’s. They have nice shoes for girls. When she is in stages of walking I DEFINETLY reccommend those hard white loafers. They aren’t exaclty loafers but they have a hard brown bottom and they are white all over. They really help the baby balance as she starts to walk. Though they are ugly they’ll help your baby! After she starts walking you switch to soft bottom shoes like the sandals, Nike’s, Adidas, K swiss, etc. Good Luck!
at 8 months something cheap, the little girl might be lucky enough to wear the shoes 3 times before she grows out of them.
High tops, thats shoes that usually go up the ankle some, this will help them since they are just learning to walk.
they have them a walmart and other stores usually are white but should be some in other colors.
IF BABY IS WALKING SHOES ARE NEEDED BUT IF NOT NO SHOES NEEDED….Preventing Foot Troubles of the Pre-walking Infant
. . . You would not think of keeping your baby from moving his hands and wiggling his fingers. You would not swaddle his hands and fingers. Why, then, swaddle his feet and toes? . . .
No Pre-walking Shoes
. . . the baby should play barefooted in a play pen. When he starts to creep and crawl on the carpeted floors, he should be allowed to crawl barefooted . . .
Infants’ Booties
. . . Infants’ feet do not have to be protected from the cold nearly as much as some adults think. Babies need no more protection for their feet when crawling on a cold floor than they do for their hands . . .
Necessity for a Flexible Shoe
. . . Be firm, and find a store where the shoe in your child’s size is flexible through the arch . . .
Avoid Arch-support Features
. . . Shoes that have raises inside them are also likely to have other arch support features, all of them deforming . . .
Choosing the Right Width
. . . Mothers must be prepared to have uninformed shoe clerks protest vigorously at their insisting on wider shoes . . .
Going Barefoot Is a "Must" for Young Children
. . . It is not enough that children’s feet be free from deforming shoes – foot health also depends upon going barefoot in order to develop agility and strength in the feet
. . . For toddlers, shoes should be worn outdoors only during inclement weather and indoors only for infrequent dress-up occasions . . .
Stride Rite baby shoes are truly classics. Baby shoes by Stride Rite promote healthy foot development with unparalleled technology, quality and fit. Stride Rite baby shoes come in a variety of widths, that include wide width baby shoes and extra wide width baby shoes. Our baby shoes consist of both boy and girl styles, just right for their first steps.
Personally it is best for a baby to learn to walk barefoot….and I did not get shoes till my nephew was walking and needed it to protect his feet outside.
Stride rite I feel is the best for first shoes as they will measure the child’s feet and recommend the best shoes for you…they are more money but worth it, I feel for their first shoes.
Don’t go spending your money on these high price shoes… they grow out of them too quickly and then where would they be? My advice to you is to go to Wally world and get a pair there. They are cheaper, but since the child don’t wear them long any ways then you aren’t out a lot of money. (They have a lot of cute shoes at Wally World that looks similar to the ones you are looking at now.)
Try something cheap at first because son still won’t wear his shoes and he is 7 months old. If they are not walking yet don’t waste money on shoes. Buy more diapers instead.
