Huggies came out with a jeans theme of diapers and a special edition limited time wipe cover. I want to see if anyone has found or made a pattern using yarn to recreate a baby wipe cover. By either knitting it or crocheting it.

I have some Opal rainforest yarn that I want to make some baby socks out of and I was wondering if anyone had a straight forward pattern they have tried before that they like that I can use the yarn for. Or if you can suggest a book with a good pattern you like in it.

I discovered a few years ago how to weave nice pouches out of a loom and yarn, and thought that maybe I could make a nice blanket out of a larger loom for a soon due baby of a friend of mine. The loom is just a simple piece of wood with exactly 16 rectangular notches cut out of the top and bottom… sort of like this: n__n__n__n__n__n__n__n (Use your imagination)
You weave by taping a piece of string to the board and place it in one notch and and then in the notch below and once over. I’ve figured out how I can create another loom to make a blanket, but I was wondering If anyone had heard of this weaving before, or has knowledge of what type of yarn and of what quantity I should use. I heard of Bernat yarn of the "Super Bulky" consistency, but I am unsure…I’ve never really bought baby blanket yarn before.
I just discovered that my loom is a card loom…if that helps anyone in their answer

I was given the 5 balls of yarn to knit with but have to buy the knitting needle since I don’t have that one yet. The blanket is 46×36 and is a baby blanket. They want it by Thanksgiving weekend. I wanted to charge 0, which would be like .75 an hour for work. I just wanna know I am charging the right amount because my boyfriend said that was too expensive. I think he is wrong though.

I love the feel of cotton, but some other pretty yarn that I have is acrylic and just as soft. I rarely use any manmade materials. I would like to finish it but don’t want to spend extra money on organic yarn.

I’m new to knitting…I want to make a baby blanket…about the size of a regular baby blanket. How do you know the measurements by the amount of cast on? I guess how many cast on stitched would I use to make this baby blanket? Size 10 1/2 needles…basic yarn…
So how many cast on for 36×36? The yarn is about average…

I have absolutely no expirience and would love to have a baby blanket for my little sister’s baby when he/she comes. Any good advice? And I would like, if possible, to be able to make a cute design on it (preferably a panda) if you could also help with that. Also, what tools will I need and how much yarn for a normal sized baby blanket? Thank you so much in advance

I will be using the large K size hook and I’d like to just double crochet a blanket. Will this work? Also, for homespun do I need to use more than 1 strand of yarn? Most of the patterns I’ve seen require at least 2. This yarn is so expensive and it doesn’t crochet well after the first time, so I’m afraid to try it and then redo if it doesn’t work. Any tips welcome!
