Also what do I need to get? I want to start buying items for when my husband and I get pregnant (soon I hope). I would like to know what are good items to buy, how can I get them cheap, and what are items that you or someone you know have bought that was a waste of money? I only want to buy the essentials.
This is a general question. I’m just asking what you think is essential or a waste of money when it comes to your baby. I’m talking about anything from bottles, bibs, formula, furniture, diapers, clothing, car seats, etc. Let me know what you think is essential or a waste of money. I’m due in early Oct and I’ve already started put some baby stuff into my online gift registry. Yes it’s a little early but I’m excited so lay off… 
I’ve got a question for all the northern – climate moms out there. Should I buy any short sleeved onsies, or just get all long sleeved ones? I’m only registering for clothing in the 0-6 month range and I’m just curious – Have you ever used any short sleeved ones in winter, or would it be a waste of money? I’m seeing alot of really cute short sleeved ones that I’m tempted to put on the registry but I’m not sure on this one… I know it’s kind of a lame question but just a first timer looking for some quick insight from a veteran.

my daughter is half White(me) and half Mexican (daddy) i have been trying to find some cute mexican style clothes for her but i can’t seem to find any, anyone know of a good site or store that might carry some. Her grandma brought some with her when she came to visit when she was small and i wanted some that would fit her now any ideas? (my hubby says he doesn’t know where to get any here.)

to start off im 15. I live in the hood. Im a freshy in hs. In the future i want to be like kimora lee Simmons.Have EVERYTHING that involves fashion. But the clothes in MY style. Not hers. I have NO EXPERIENCE whats so ever. Ive never did anything related to being a fashion designer. I was thinking if i go to college to become that it would be a waste of money & time because it takes ALOT to get known and for people to pay attention to me. But i designed a dress. it looks really cool. im a horrible drawer. SO the thing is how do i become like Kimora. I am 22 weeks pregnant with my first child and i am wondering what products did other mothers buy or get from a baby shower that they really dident use, what was a waste of money??
Also what products did you get the most use out of?? What did you feel was a great buy??
I know every baby is different and they all like different things but i want to knwo just a ball park idea of good items to invest in or to ask for at my baby shower.
I really want to buy nice/ name brand clothing for my daughter. However I do not, ever, want to pay full price. I have tried looking on craigslist and ebay but they are overpriced or out of style, and i don’t really want used clothes anyway. I have tried the sale racks but they have a very small selection and its still way overpriced.
I know people who do not have any money, and yet they are able to buy designer clothes without breaking the bank. How do they do it? These people are acquaintances, so I don’t feel comfortable asking them.
I am not looking for speeches on how its a waste of money, they just ruin them, stain them, they’lll grow out of them fast. i know that, and it doesn’tt bother me.
I’ve heard so many people say not to use bumpers or comforters, it makes me wonder if I should even bother buying those four piece crib bedding sets at the baby stores. If I can only use the fitted sheet and the crib skirt, isn’t it a waste of money to buy a four piece set?
My grandmother and mother and mother in law…All told me when I found out that I was having a girl "Don’t go by baby clothes, you won’t need many and it’s just a waste of money"…Well I did buy a few cute outfits.
Anyways…after that speech, they turned around and did exactly what they told me NOT to do.
I have tons and tons of Newborn baby clothes…from people who told me that it was wasteful.
