I saw a commercial this morning on cartoon network for a new thing for kids. Its kind of like the hooded animal towels but its a blanket ! It has a hood and hand covers….i forgot the website and cant find the info anywhere cuz i forgot the damn name 
Please help, i wanna order one !
He had a really bad diaper rash, i stopped using wipes and used towels instead. His diaper rash cleared up, so i started to use wipes again and now its back. Are there any wipes out there for sensitive skin?
My baby shower is on Sunday, 30 people coming, and yet im worried. Im not one to expect people to just give me gifts, but if they are going to spend the money, I would rather they get items that Ive marked off that I need. I put many little low cost things on the registry, so people wouldn’t have to spend much. I also put larger things on for my family.
Ive already been receiving hand me down clothes from friends and family, so im not really in the need for a ton of clothes, but im worried that’s all I will get. So far, the only thing marked off my registry has been hooded towels and shampoo though people have known about the registry for three weeks or more. My friend is watching my registry for me, and she added a note saying that if they bought the items somewhere else cheaper, to let her know so she could mark them off the registry, as well as if they got a different variety of an item to make sure it was safe and again let her know so she could mark it off.
Basically, did you get mostly what was on your registry?? Did you get different varieties of the items?? And do you think ill get much off it since the shower is so close??
Im not even trying to be selfish. Im sure you, poster number 3, has gotten gifts in the past that you were not fond of or just plain did not need or want. If your going to answer a question like that then ask for more information. You don’t know my financial situation or anything. People are on this site looking for answers, not rude opinions.
Hello I am 23 weeks w/ a baby girl, and we are going shopping later with exactly 0 (we are careful budgeters). Obviously that is not enough for baby items lol, because we have been doing our shopping gradually, spending small amounts of money at a time. This is our first child, so I have NO IDEA what I really need.
Some things I have already gotten:
- Stroller
- Car seat
- Diaper pail
- Bedding Set
- Crib matress cover
- 5 outfits (were obviously getting more)
- A few pairs of socks
- Diaper bag
- Baby bath tub
- Hooded towels / Washcloths
My dad is buying her crib as his baby gift, but I need to know what else I need!!
im doing unisex colors so no it does not matter that i do not know the sex yet.
this is my first baby and i have a list of what i "need" for the baby, but some of it seems pointless and more of like a must have for baby.
what are the most important things i should register for?
i already have registered….
monitor , travel mirror , burp cloths , diapers , bottles , bottle sterilizer , bottle brushes , pacifiers , mittens , rattles , teethers , first aid and grooming kits , vaporizor , diaper pail , tub , hooded towels , wash , shampoo , lotion , diaper rash ointment , baby wipes , wipe warmer , travel system , jumper , bouncer , positioner , high chair , crib/portable crib , toys , socks , onsies , shoes.
what am i missing , or do u suggest that any of these items are not necessary?
I am having a baby in 8 months and I am 15 years old. My parents want me to put it up for adoption which is NOT happening I would NEVER give my kid away for anything. So I have a list of everything I need but I want to know how much it will cost. I am not putting it in daycare I am going to watch it I do online schooling anyways. And I can get a pretty good car seat and stroller and crib for cheap at thrift stores by my house they are gently used that I seen. So that rest of what I would need is blankets, burp cloths, pacifiers, diaper bag, diapers, wipes, baby shampoo, gentle baby bath, baby tub, soft toys, audio monitor, hooded towels, baby oil, baby nail clippers, bouncer, and I can get a very good amount of baby clothes from thrift stores to that are also gently used.
Also tell me if there is anything else I am missing.
Hello! I was wondering if any of you on here have tried to make your own burp cloths? Our baby isn’t due til March and we will be having a shower in January. I don’t sew but my husband can. I was just wondering what type of material to use to make cloths? I know they have those thick bulky ones but I’ve heard of people using 2 pieces of flannel put together but is there anything in between it or not? Or maybe a few towels sewn together? It doesn’t have to be thick like those diaper ones they sell. I thought it would be kind of cool and colorful if we could do SOME burp cloths ourselves.
What do you think?
Oh, it would have to be for hand sewing and how big do you guys think they should be??

I bought a new house in August and I am so in love with it. I have a huge master suite and the luxury of it is often overshadowed by the somewhat smelly bathroom. I clean it twice a week, change the towels and wash the floor mats and it still has a twinge of mildew in the air. I don’t want to cover up the smell, I want to know how to get rid of it.
