Ok…im shopping online for some shoes. my girls normally wear a size five in toddler shoes! old navy has a pair that i like…but the shoe i want starts at a six! anyone know how old navy shoes fit?? here is the shoe…and i need to make sure that it is a toddler six and not a child six! any help would be nice! thanks!!

My daughter wears a size 5 or 6 toddler depending on the brand of shoe and recently she has been sitting down while walking outside and just crying and pointing to her feet. She has room where the toes are but her shoes are snug to slip on.

I’ve decided I need to get her professionally fitted at a shoe store but none of the sales reps I have spoken to on the phone really made me feel confident. I mean, what kind of training do they really get? 10 min discussion on toddler shoes?

So mommies… is a 5.5 a size halfway between 5 and 6, or does 5.5 mean 5 wide? Do you know a brand of shoe that makes a good wide toddler shoe? We are going on a camping trip in 2 days and I need to have good walking shoes for her.

for infant/toddler shoes, when they say 1M, 2M, 3M… up to 13M, does the M stand for medium, like the width, which is the case with older children’s shoes, or does it stand for months, like with clothing sizes?

What are your favorite baby/toddler shoes- besides Robeez crib shoes?
We just got my son his first pair of "real" shoes-
he has worn Robeez ever since he was born and had Robeez boots this winter (soft leather). The shoes we got are Stride Rite and they’re really cute.

I’ve also looked at See Kai Run, Robeez Tredz and a couple others- but I liked these because they are cute, will go with lots of stuff- and they had them in his size. I haven’t been able to find many shoes I like in his size, even online lately!!

I bought those for my son. I just returned them yesterday. he isn’t walking quit yet- and they just wouldn’t stay on his feet!! but i love them!!
sara- i asked what shoes you liked, not to insult the shoes i bought.

I happen to like the shoes we got for him- and MANY childrens shoes cost what Stride Rite costs.

I don’t like all of there shoes- but I DO think there are SOME cute ones. Plus, they are good for thier feet.

i have thought about them before, but didn’t know if they were better to get after he actually has learned to walk. he’s almost there – but not quit. I have a pair and wear them quite often- and my son’s father also has a pair he wears often too!
