I am looking to sell quite alot of used clothes on Ebay and not sure if it’s best to list as lots or individual. I have brand name toddler clothes which range in size from 12m-4T and in good condition. I also have alot of brand name clothes of mine in excellent condition and mostly Hollister, American Eagle and Aeropostale. Any suggestions would be great!

I will be selling bags full of my daughter’s clothes she has outgrown – she is 3 now – so infant to 3 in sizes. I know that i used to try to find bargains on baby/toddler clothes cuz they grow out of their clothes so quick at that age! I am going to have a yard sale and didnt want to bother trying to sell the clothes as i usually take them to a consignment store or give them away. Well, times are tough and me & my b/f both were laid off from our jobs recently, so we need all the money we can get! Also i need my closet space back! My question is – i have no idea how to set them up at the sale. I dont want people to have to rummage thru a bunch of boxes and i dont want to have to price each individual peice of clothing. Some of the clothes are more play-type clothes and are kinda worn, some are nearly new. I was thinking about hanging up the nicer stuff with individual price tags and then the rest i could kinda group together and just put a sign up with the prices. Also, as for prices i was gonna try and price them far cheaper than the 2nd hand stores and what not. Maybe .50 each or something? Please, does anyone have suggestions? Any yard sale experts?

I’m not talking about 6 to 10 year old stuff, The things I’m selling are only about 3 or 4 years old. I’ve got some baby and toddler clothes from Gymboree, Baby Gap and Children’s Place that are fairly new, no stains on them and still look great. There are also several cute pairs of shoes that were never even worn. I’ve also got a toddler bed with the mattress, a little tykes kitchen and a few VSmart electronic toys that work just fine. Some people I talk to say to price the clothes and toys at a buck or two, but I just can’t imagine doing that for stuff that originally cost more than 20 bucks. Is 4 or 5 bucks too much? How about the Toddler bed with mattress? The mattress is a Sealy Comfort bed, one side for infants and one side for older babies. Would 20 bucks for the set be too much? Thanks in advance for sharing your advice. -Mich

I have a ton of child/ toddler clothes, a few adult male pants/jeans and some Age5-7ish clothes.
Anything else I had I threw in the trash- not worth putting out since only baby and child clothes and adult male pants tend to sell.
My question: If I put up a sign that said "All clothing items 25 cents, 10 cents for stained/ damaged items"
Is that low enough to move them? See any potential problems?
As someone suggested having a "Free” Clothes pile- I did consider this. My only concern is that people will start to claim that the “for sale” items were in the free pile.
I know this sounds petty for 25 cents on my part, but dang it, I don’t want to be cheated, it’s the principle of the matter.
(I once chased someone down for 10 cents as they made a mad dash for their vehicle with an item.)
If you have any ideas on how to make a viable free pile, I think putting out a “Free” Pile is an excellent idea.

I’m starting a small business that will sell baby and toddler clothes as well as things like aprons, oven mitts and other kitchen accessories. I like the idea of using a tree name and I want something simple. Everything I can think of is not available for a website name. Please help!

I have never sewn a day in my life. I have never even seen a sewing machine in action. I really want to take up sewing as a hobby. What kind of machine should a beginner look into getting, I need one that is simple to use. Also is it incredibly hard to get the hang of? Whats the easiest thing to start off with? I want to sew toddler clothes for my son and maybe even some skirts for myself.
