None of our friends or family have mentioned anything to my wife about throwing a baby shower for her. She is about 6 months pregnant, are we just thinking to early or are we okay thinking something is wrong? Friends and familes always throw baby/bridal showers for everyone prior to us?

I am throwing a baby shower for a friend and our theme is mainly baby blue and brown. I have the dessert covered but I am looking for game ideas, food and virigin drink ideas. I want the drinks to have cute names like bahama mama to go along with theme. I want everything to be tasty but still have the fun,young, hip mom theme attached to it! I am throwing a baby shower for my sister. It is her second baby but she never had a shower with the first baby. We want to put a cute little rhyme or saying on the inside telling people something like, "Since ____ didn’t have a baby shower before we want to make this one extra special", but obviously much cuter and flowing/rhyming. We want people to know this is the first shower since the sex of the baby is the same and she doesn’t want to look like she is just being greedy and looking for gifts.

I’m throwing a baby shower for two of my friends who are both due in October. It’s going to be kind of big since they don’t have the same friends plus both of their families are coming. The problem I’m having is with the colors. One of them is having a boy but the other one doesn’t want to know the sex until after baby is born so I don’t think it will be appropriate to have "boy" colors like blue so what colors should I use?
