I have plenty of baby clothes and still need a lot of other things…I have a registry at Target and Walmart, but am afraid that people won’t see what we really need and will just go out and buy the typical baby shower gift—clothes. How do I just get them to get the items that we still need?

I am going to be having my baby in June and I was wondering if its worth buying diapers in bulk. Is it cheaper to buy them in bulk there? I hear that Target has a GOOD brand of diapers and would there diapers be cheaper in the long run?

If you were a new parent of a preemie, how much, if at all, would you expect to pay for a medium-sized bag (like a Target shopping bag) of used but good condition preemie clothes? I’d like to sell them in my local newspaper, is why I ask, but I don’t know if it’s worth it or not to place the ad. They’re girls’ clothes, by the way, if that helps. Thx.

I’m searching some photos of just generic people to put a faces with the characters for my modern-setting Role-Playing Game. They aren’t intended to be pretty, muscular, or necessarily in ideal physical condition. I just want pictures of generic people.
I’m looking pictures of kids, teens, and young adults mostly, but infants, toddlers, middle aged, and senior photos would be good, too. I just want photos like you’d see in a Wal-Mart or Target ad modeling the clothes that are on sale. When I do searches for models or just people, I end up getting images of a somewhat promiscuous nature, which is nearly an antithesis or what I’m looking for. On the occasion that I do find something along the lines I’m looking for, 9 out or 10 times it’s got “SAMPLE” printed across it, and that just won’t do. Anyone have any ideas at all?
Yes, I could take pictures of my friends and use them, but for one, my friends are all ready playing the game, and for another, my friends don’t always look like the characters I’m using in the game.
Something as simple as school pictures would be great.
I don’t want to give anyone my credit card number or home address or anything in order to access a couple of photos; that’s dumb.

I previously had the Robeez baby shoes given to me at a baby shower, and I found them at Saks for ! I know its not that much, but things keep coming up, and I’m on a budget. I love the Robeez shoes, they were the only shoes had I had used that didn’t slip off without those elastic red marks left behind. I have seen shoes similiar to Robeez at target, same structure and look, but I was wondering if they are less quality or is Saks just overpricing it?

our son is 9 1/2 months old…right now he wears a size 2 in infant shoes (like walmart baby shoes and stuff)…

The only sandals that I have found at walmart are more like a slick fake leather stuff and I can’t even stand to wear something like that…these are the only sandals that I have found that would probably work for our son…

Just don’t know what in the world size I would need for our son…THANKS!!!

Hi!
I had my second baby this past weekend, a girl born at almost 35 weeks. She’s doing GREAT and should be home in about a week But, I won’t start talking about her because I will never shut up, haha. She is so dang beautiful

Anyway… Obviously her being born early was totally unexpected, so I didn’t have a bunch of preemie clothing laying around. Lucky for me, I get to go home today and will have time to prepare for her to get out of the hospital while she is still in the NICU.

My best friend (who has been absolutely AMAZING) went to look for some clothes and could really only find an outfit or two at wal-mart. She checked target, but couldn’t find a thing. We saw a couple things online, and they do have quite a few outfits here that were donated. I did see her wearing the most adorable little gown from Carter’s, but went on the website and didn’t see a single thing! I’m so frustrated, she’s so small that I have to buy preemie clothes (was born at 4lbs 5oz and weighed in at 3lbs 15oz last night) in order to dress her and keep her warm, but I can’t find anything!

If anyone has any ideas on where to go (and yes, I know I will have to do some searching) I would really appreciate it. I’m trying to avoid ordering online just because I would rather know I have the clothing for her to wear when she gets out and not be waiting around for it.

She was born at 4lbs 5oz, and last night was weighed at 3lbs 15oz. I don’t plan on buying a lot, but she does need some stuff to wear that fits her to keep her warm because she is absolutely tinnyyyy.

I’m getting ready to stock up on some summer clothes for my son (2 yrs old, wears size 2T). I want to get good quality clothes that can last with him being a wild little boy, lol. I’m also looking for pants that have the adjustible waistband because he’s really skinny in the waist.

Sooooooooo – where are some good places to shop? I usually go to Kohl’s & Target. Any other suggestions?
I forgot about Osh Kosh – and they have an outlet in my area too!

Wal-Mart, Target, and Kmart doesn’t have them. I’ve tried eBay, but I’m not paying those ridiculous prices, especially when most of the stuff on eBay is used.
