we had our shower yesterday, and now have some stuff to return and money to finally spend on a few things that we would like to get. but i would like these more expensive things to be a one time investment that can be used with all our future children.

we would like to purchase a bouncer, stroller (to go with current graco car seat), and a swing. we like the papasan swings by fisher price, but we also dont want to waste our money on something that expensive that may end up being useless.

as much as i would love to buy it all in girly prints, im gonna restrain myself and get gender neutral stuff in case we have boys later on. lol

so what do you have or did you use that you absolutely loved and would buy again and again that last from newborn up? ive looked up a few things, but would like some personal opinions as some of the reviews are a little back and forth. thanks!

So many options on baby gear! Poll..?

I have just found out that my baby is a boy and have been doing some shopping…but there are SOOO many options between brands and even so many different types of gear like bouncers and swings…what products were worth it to you and which weren’t? I don’t want a bunch of stuff around my house that won’t get any use!

Hi everyone. I need to finally clear out my baby son’s things. The issue is that most of it is in new condition unworn, and many designer names. Also many like new items like bouncers, swings, etc. Is it too much to ask for 75% of the original price? All are in just as good as new condition. All clothes are new unworn or worn once. I have two bouncers( new -39 each), a baby einstein mobile that was , and other great name brand products. I went crazy shopping but don’t want to do all the work for a yard sale unless I get a return on what I spent. If I just wanted to get rid of it period, I would just donate it rather than take all the time to mark things under 25 cents. Please let me know your own etiquette for yard sales. And yes, I would pay the prices I am marking things at for myself. Also I am going to have many items under a dollar and free items that are still in great condition. Thanks in advance all you yard-salers out there. I need your help.
Sorry all, typo – I mean 75% Off of what I paid for the items. Babygap, Guess, Ecko Unlimited, Nike, Adidas, etc.
As stated, many of the items are NEW and UNWORN, not used. So please read the question before answering. Thanks.
Yes, I will continue to dress my baby boy in designer clothes – he might only wear them once, but he’s always in style. He deserves the best, and that is what he will get – no matter what it costs us! Or if I can re-sell anything to make any money.

baby gear, how much of them?

I am trying to make our registry ans "shopping list" for baby normal and resonable. I dont need to go competely bare, I’ve got some money to get a few un-necessary things, you know… but what ones do i pick out of the gear? Bouncers, swings, the swing glider (more relaxing)??? Do people usually get all of them or just pick one of those things? Because how would you pick which one your baby would prefer, you just cant. Also… how about cribs, did you all get use out of buying a seperate co-sleeper (the arms reach one) or bassinet and then a portable crib like a pack n’ play. (thats like 3 "soothers" and 3 sleeping pieces, too much!!!)

Moms selling baby stuff on ebay?

So, I’m looking to make about an extra 0 bucks a month, I’m a stay at home mom but we need extra income. I can’t get a job outside my home, but I’ve heard that Ebay is a great way to make some money. I have a few questions though.

First of all, how much can I really expect to make selling things? Is making 0 dollars a month on Ebay unrealistic? Be honest, I’ve never used Ebay before so I have no idea how much money people will pay for things.

Second, what kind of baby/kids stuff have you sold on Ebay that people really wanted? I have a ton of baby girl clothes, some of them designer names, like Christian Dior and Tommy Hilfiger. I also have toys, baby bathtubs, swings, seats, a bottle warmer, shoes, and a ton of other stuff.

Third, what does selling through Ebay entail? Do they take some money out of what you sell the product for? How do ensure you get paid from the other person before sending it out?

I need some other Mom’s opinions that have sold on Ebay,

Thanks!

Have you ever received a baby shower gift and sold it? What do you say when when the person who bought it for you asks about how baby likes it? or If it’s a big item IE swings, travel systems, carseats, bassinets and they ask about it while visiting do you tell them you’ve sold the item? Just curious?
I’m asking because I see alot of people advertising for things they received at a baby shower on craigslist and I was more curious if alot of people do this? I never did, but I also didn’t get duplicates or anything like that.
