We had a early cold snap here and my 7 month old refuses to leave his socks on. He pulls them off to chew on them or will chew them on his feet until they are wet. Either way he ends of will cold toes. He is in 12 months, so footed pants arent really an option.

Anyone know of slippers or socks that are a little harder to pull off?

i have never put socks on my babies until it started getting cold out. (we are all in socks today) i find it silly being that they don’t wear shoes, especially since i hate to wear socks in the summer myself. my MIL is always criticizing my parenting, and this is one of the topics she likes to criticize about. do you put socks on your baby in the summer?

please help an anxious pregnant lady out (lol)
im 36 weeks pregnant with my firts baby, and im trying to be as prepared as possible, with out going to crazy. here is what we recieved from our baby shower. i cant imagine a newborn using more than this, but will is this enough of each. i didnt get much babyclothes, but we pretty much got everything else we need.
10 recieving blankets
1boppy (2 slip covers)
25 burp clothes
15 bibs
4 hooded towels
12 washclothes

also about how many outfits should i have for each size?
i have for 0-3 mo (i wasnt really planning on getting any newborn )
10 gowns
4 footed sleepers

do you think i need more of anything?
i dont want to buy a bunch of 0-3 clothes if she wont use them. i dont have many clothes in the other sizes either so i know im going to be buying . clothes eventually. thanks for the advice

I Just wanted to post my list of things i Have for a newborn.. to like 3 months.. like clothes wise, not diapers and formula and stuff.. but then could someone tell me if i am missing a necessity or if i need more of something.. So here goes;

11 Tops/sweaters

3 jumpers/one pieces

6 pairs of shoes lol

3 mittens
8 pairs of socks

lol now obviously i have alot of some things, and hardly any of everything else.
Also i didnt buy any of it, my cousin gave it all to me..

So Am i missing anything or what more do i need.

Before I go out to several stores and try to find what im looking for I fugured I would ask to see if anybody would know where i could find them.
Im looking for really really thin socks, like thin like tights. Its for my 15 month old daughter.
does anybody know if those socks with the frilly cuffs are thin?

My son is 17 months old. I put him in the 2 piece pj sets and always feel he is cold if I don’t put socks on him while he sleeps at night. What do you do?
He has never taken the socks off.

As for a blanket, he wiggles around so much that it’s only on him for the first 15 minutes.
