Im trying to think of what I should pack for the baby when I deliver her and the hospital stay? I packed her clothes, bows, socks, blanket, mittens, bib, burp clothes and I cant think of anything else she might need that the hospital doesnt already supply. Can anything think of something I might be forgetting?
I dont really want to leave the baby in a hospital shirt every day and night up until we go home. so I will dress her during the day and gowns at night.

I am getting the nursery ready, and am trying to think of a conveniant way to store all of baby’s hats, socks, and bibs, etc.

I ran out of drawer space.

How do you store these things in a conveniant way?

reselling name brand baby clothes?

So as some of you may know, my son has finally outgrown his preemie and up to 7 pounds clothing. So all of these outfits are Gymboree, there are 15 outfits 4 onesies and 4 pairs of pants (these are mix and match kind of things.) and 12 preemie sleepers by Caters, 5 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of booties and 3 pairs of crib shoes. I want to list all of these as a lot on ebay.
Oh and they were all bought new they have no stains, tears or holes and they don’t even appear to have been wore but they were a ton after all he just outgrew them this week.
So my question is what is a fair starting bid price and/or buy it now price?

My daughter, 21 months, loves to open her dresser drawers. She loves to try to dress herself and would have 20 outfits layered on her body if we left her in her room alone for a few minutes.

While its cute I am getting tired of refolding everything. It is her stuff, so I feel bad to say "No, you can’t practice independence, leave it alone".

Right now we have the top drawer with diapers, the second drawer with pajamas and socks, and the third and fourth drawer with pants, skirts, etc.

So, do you let your kids play with their clothes? She has a small walk-in closet so I could move all of her folded clothes onto shelves in there. Should I just leave the bottom drawer with a couple dress up outfits for her to play with and put the rest away or should I let her have all the clothes to try on?

(We hang up all shirts, dresses, etc)

Obviously the clothes but… Should I go ahead and wash all the blankets, mittens and hats too? And socks?

Not the Barbie type and not an infant/baby doll type. The old fashioned type a little girl can play mommy with and put "little girl" type clothes and shoes and socks on. Do they still even make them? I don’t care if it is caucasian or not.

They do have a "No shirt, No shoes, No Service" policy. They do make baby shoes you know and socks do not count. Plus, the mother was talking about her baby does not walk and is never on the floor but in the news clip she has the baby on the floor the whole time. I personally think Burger King should have called the cops immediately and had the baby banned for it obvious disregard for store policy and the mother should face a full scale investigation by the local child protective services agency no matter what the cost is to tax payers.

No, I am pretty serious with this one. I side with the King, although they have since apologized.
I do not have to be a parent to want to eat in a clean restaurant and barefoot babies do not help.

My 15 month old daughter is constantly trying to take her clothes off. She unzips her pj’s, takes off her socks, yanks the buttons off her sweaters…anything she can take off, she will take off. I keep a onesie on her (to prevent her from trying to rip off her diaper) and she keeps her pants on…but everything else is a lost cause. She keeps her clothes on when we go out somewhere (thank goodness), it’s just at home she insists on trying to be in her birthday suit =) Because heating is so expensive where I live, I tend to keep my house pretty cool. Not freezing, of course, but definitely not warm enough for her to just run around in a onesie with no socks or anything covering her like she wants to. Any advice on how to keep her from taking her clothes off?

For nighttime what does she need? Our house is a little cold at nighttime b/c we heat with wood. A sleeper and a blanket sleeper? A onsie too?

What about daytime? Regular clothes + onsie +socks?

Do any stores sell narrow baby shoes?

My baby is crawling and starting to stand a bit. I am trying to find a shoe that will fit her, mainly to keep her socks on her feet. My big problem is that her feet are incredibly narrow. I went to Stride-Rite and tried on every prewalker they had – every one of them was too wide and just slipped off her feet. The worker basically told me "good luck" and said I was going to have a hard time finding shoes for her. They have wide sizes, but not narrow. Even the straps didn’t get narrow enough. I really would like some, as she is pulling off her socks and her feet are really cold all the time.
she is a size 3
The xs, s, m don’t work because her length is too long.

She may not need shoes yet, but her brother was walking at 8 months, and I need something on her feet that she can’t pull off, as there is snow on the ground. I don’t want anything with hard soles – just something like roobez (way too wide) that will keep her feet warm.
