How to prevent blisters from Crocs?

At work we’re required to wear either sneakers or crocs. Now that summer is here i’d like to wear capris, and crocs look better with capris than sneakers do. So I wore my new crocs for the first time yesterday and now have big painful blister on the inner sides of my foot, a perfect circle where the plastic piece is from the strap that’s on them. How do I wear these shoes and prevent blisters?

The wedding will be outside and it will be hot where we are going. I need to run out and buy something for my son to wear while still remaining on a budget. He has no dress shoes of any kind.. He has a pair of dressier looking sandals and a pair of sneakers but that’s about it.

Is a short sleeved button down shirt too casual? Should I put him in khaki shorts or pants? The wedding is somewhat formal, and my husband and I are dressing up (He is wearing a suit, and I’m wearing a nice cocktail-type dress)… but I don’t want my toddler to be hot and uncomfortable and I don’t want to spend a fortune on something he is going to wear one time…

Any ideas?
LOL Hippie… The wedding is in GA and the bride wants us to bring Mason… of course LOL… plus we are leaving on Monday for a 4 day cruise and the babe is staying with my mom… so I would feel sheisty getting a baby sitter right before I leave the poor dude for a few days.

Is your baby obsessed with your shoes?

My daughter sucks on my flip flops! I cannot seem to get her to stop even if I tell her no, distract her and give her a toy! She sucks on the insoles of my "sloggers" and plays with the family’s sneakers. It’s gross, I realize she can become very ill. I have our shoes on a shoe rack, that she likes to disassemble and put every pair of shoes on the floor to suck on them. It’s annoying telling her to stop! Other than putting all of the shoes in a big ugly tote, what can I do? We dont’ have a closet that we can use either.

What are "baby doll" shoes?

For Christmas my niece requested "baby doll" shoes. At first I thought they were like Mary Jane flats with the strap across the foot, but she said "No, they are flats but they are like sneakers". So now I’m really confused. What the heck are "baby doll" shoes?

I’m in 7th grade and in the beginning of the year, few girls wore designer bags to school instead of backpacks. At the end of the year, 90% of them wore bags! I feel like the only one with a backpack. All popular girls wear them, and some average girls wear them with their posh clothing and huge coach bags swinging on their shoulders. They act like there walking on a Hollywood red carpet and the paparazzi are snapping photos of them to be on People Magazine. It’s just school! They say they wear it because it’s cute, but more than half of the girls are probably wearing it because everyone else is. Don’t their shoulders ache? Since there young, won’t they have back and shoulder problems in their 20′s? I feel like backpacks are better because the weight is equal on both of your shoulders, especially since it’s middle school and you carry more things.

Two days ago, these three "posh" girls came up to me and said, "You look like a turtle in that backpack of yours." They said ‘backpack’ as if it were an epidemic. Then they told me that I needed Vans shoes instead of my Sketchers sneakers. They asked me why my clothes come from the Children’s Place, and told me to stop wearing my hair in pigtails and wearing a bow on my head because it makes me look like a first grader. And lastly, that I should carry makeup. So I felt small, like a little baby. And today was the last day of school, and they said that next year in eighth grade, I should come back wearing Hollister and Abercrombie and Aero.
I told them I was going to be myself, and not wear what other people are wearing. And they said that’s the point of school! What’s wrong with these girls? I swear, some of them apply makeup like 6 times in a school day! And they look old, like 40! And it’s hard to find a true friend because all the nice girls seem to disapear in the pressures of middle school.
