I have two chihuahuas @ 6 months, boy & girl, both fixed, current with shots, and they sleep in the same room where I sleep and keep the crib.

My plan is to move the two little rascals to the other living room before going into labor…. but after that how will I know my newborn is allergic to them? What kind of signs of allergic reactions should I look for? Please share, thanks!

My baby is 8 weeks old and I just started trying to put her in her crib for at least 1 nap per day but I have to swaddle her same as at night for bed in order for her to sleep. Is swaddling a hard thing to break? And is it important at this age for her to nap in her bed everytime she falls asleep in her swing ar infant chair? If not then what age should I start?

My 11mo old has always slept in her bed and through the night. We went to visit family and she had to sleep with me, now i cant get her to even nap in her own crib. She will be dead asleep and as soon as i lay her down she will wake up and freak out. I’ve tried everything bottle, my clothes in her crib, Baby Einstein rocking her to sleep i’m fresh out of ideas. HELP!!!!

Please help. My 1month old has developed a schedule all on his own and I’m getting absolutely NO SLEEP. Everyday he wants to take a nap between 5-6pm, and usually ends up waking around 8-9pm. For the past week I’ve been up until 5am rocking and feeding, and singing, and bathing, and just about anything I can think of to get him to sleep. Between 9pm-4am he refuses to sleep (unless I put him in the bed with me). Otherwise, he’ll start dozing off, but wakes up as soon as I lay him in his crib. After our fight every night, he’ll finally give in before 5am and wakes around 930am and I’m always exhausted. Everyone say sleep while he sleeps, but he only takes 1-2hr naps throughout the day. And I use that time to eat, shower, pump, and clean up. I’m really desprate and I know "it will get better soon," but I just need some help now. Right now it’s nearly 1am and I’ve been rocking, feeding, singing, etc. since 815, my arms hurt and I’m exhausted and my husband is deployed.

For the first few weeks we are planning on having the baby sleep in her bassinet in our bedroom, but was wondering what everyone else has done with regard to what age your baby was when you started putting them in their crib, in their own room? I don’t want to put her in there too soon, but also would like to attempt to have a routine as early as possible, if possible. Just looking for different opinions! Thanks a bunch.

Ok so I bought my crib and my baby is only 2 weeks old and now her crib is being recalled. I have a bassinet that she can sleep in for now. I just want to know if there is any way to get my money I spent on the crib back with out a reciept?

I have a 19 day old newborn who is constantly crying till early hours of the morning. I end up having to breastfeed her for sometimes 6 or 7 hours on and off. As soon as I stop feeding she cries. I’ve tried everything. Burping her, giving her infants’ friend drops, swaddling her, rocking her. Eventually she gets to sleep but it is very draining on me. Any suggestions would be grateful please!

My 1 month old daughter sometimes cries uncontrollably. It is really scary. After feeding I burp her once (hope that is sufficient and right way). I try to make her sleep by putting her in my lap, put her in my hands like cradle, but she will not like that. She will get up in the sleep and start crying again.

How would you make your babies sleep fast and sound? What burping method worked best for your baby at 1 month-2 month age?

by the time my second baby my daughter will be 26months. she is not ready to sleep in the bed. she’ll be sleeping in the her crib. for the second baby i was thinking to get a bassinet or cradle. however, i think its waist of money because they are only till 6months. what would you suggest me to do. thanks in advance.

My son is 10 weeks old and has been sleeping in his bassinet in my bedroom. I’m not sure when I should start making him sleep in his crib. I feel a lot more comfortable when he’s in the same room as me. I have monitors, but it’s not the same. When did your babies move from the bassinet to the crib?
