My husband and I were thinking of putting our daughters toy chest underneath her toddler bed. We are planning on building this for her. We want her to be able to access her toys in the daytime and sleep on her bed at night. But him and I can’t seem to agree on how to keep her fingers from getting smashed. But then again we don’t know what is the best way to do it either. Can someone help us out and lead us in the right direction.

We moved a few weeks ago and just ordered a toddler bed which should be here in a week. My child has not slept in their crib because we had to throw it away before we moved because it was falling apart. They have been co-sleeping with me and their dad in our bed. Which if your going to say I’m a horrible parent and tell me how I shouldn’t be doing that, you can just forget it! I am asking for advice NOT criticism.
So once the bed arrives how can we get the toddler to sleep in it and to stay in their room?

Is this weird? I feel that my toddler is safe in the crib rather than a toddler bed or regular bed because she can’t go wondering around during nap town or bed time. I feel that if I put my child to sleep during nap times or bed time in a bed, she would go near the windows or remove the outlet covers and harm herself. Is this normal thinking? Please help as I do want to feel comfortable making this transition for my toddler.

We have moved to a smaller home, and our two & three year old boys, now need to share a room. First, we can’t even get them to stay in the room. Second, we can’t get them to go to sleep. They play and play with each other for hours. They have been waking up with dark circles under their eyes, as they don’t sleep in later the next morning as you would think they might.
I don’t know what else to do. We have put up baby gates to keep them in, but they still climb out. Our two year old is now temporarily sleeping in the walk-in closet (with the door open) in our master bedroom with us, but clearly this is not a permanent solution. Advice is greatly appreciated :0)

If baby socks can lead to scarring, what should I use? My son is 10 months. He doesn’t sleep with them, but for outside he has them with slippers (it is below 20 out) and inside he has socks on during the day. What do you guys do?

here is where I read it, the best answer
There is nothing wrong with the socks my son uses, but I am saying if socks scar, what do we use then?
I don’t have any problem with socks or being too tight. My son’s socks are all fine, but I just had read this that is all.

I have heard about people who have had their babies sleep through the night as young as a month old. But is it healthy to let them go that long without eating? I thought babies at that age were still supposed to be eating at least every 4 hours. Are they still getting all the nutrition they need when they sleep through the night? I know that some say babies will wake up when they are hungry, but my doctors have all told me that if my son doesn’t wake up to eat, then I should wake him up to feed him. So what’s the deal?

Okay so my friend works with someone that had a perfectly healthy normal baby, but now the babies head is flat in one spot and the baby is devolping slowly and has alot of problems. She told me it was because the baby wasn’t turned in it’s sleep. I’ve NEVER heard of this before, but is it true you have to turn your babies head or this happens????
I thought a baby shouldnt even be sleeping that long to get a flat head.

MOMS- When did you stop using your changing table? My daughter will be one on Turesday and she so wiggly now when I change her that I am afraid that she is goin to hurt herself or fall off (and I NEVER leave her unattatended).
When did you start letting your child sleep with a blanket?
I am in a total cleaning and organization mode and want to pack things away and get rid of things! lol
THANKS!
