My baby is 1 year old. She usually sleeps with me, but now I want her to sleep in her crib. She usually moves a lot while sleeping, sometimes she sits up in the midnight and falls down, her head hitting against the mattress. However, if she sleeps in her crib, i’m afraid that her head will hit the crib. I don’t think the bumper helps much because it just works if she lays down.
Can you suggest what I can do?
Thanks.

My baby is 5 months old, and he goes to sleep at nine o’clock. He usually falls asleep while i am nursing him and is wrapped in a blanket. When I put him to bed he wakes up when I take the blanket off of him. How old should he be when he can keep his blanket in the bed with him?

How do I get my baby to sleep in his crib?

My son is 4 1/2 months old. He co-sleeps with me but I am wanting him to sleep in his own crib now. If he falls asleep and I lay him in his crib he will wake up or if he stays asleep it wont last long. How can I get him to sleep in his crib the way he sleeps in my bed with me?

I have always done exactly what the doctor us regarding the sleeping arrangments. He sleeps in his crib that has a mattress and fitted sheet and that’s it. No stuffed animals, no blankets..etc. He is a year old now and I’m wondering if it’s okay to throw a blanket in there- he’s sleeping all through the night and wearing footed pajamas so he’s not getting cold or anything. It’s not like I’m trying to rush it I’m just wondering when do you finally let them sleep with blankets?

My husband picked out the hardest mattress I have ever felt for our baby’s crib. I know it needs to be firm, but I’m wondering if this is too extreme. Since it is supposed to last until they are a toddler, will a toddler be able to sleep on a mattress this hard? I know it shouldn’t be soft, but I’m wondering if going with a "firm" mattress over a "feels like cement" mattress would be more conducive to sleep.
