I’m trying to find "cost-effective" ways of going through my pregnancy..does this work..

I work full-time and so does my husband so it’s notlike I don’t have money to buy maternity clothes it’s just that I still want to avoid spending money when it’s only temporary

i don’t really remember when i started wearing maternity jeans with my first pregnancy and i never bought maternity shirts… just loose stuff from the juniors section (i was only 21). now i am pregnant with my second and i turned 19 weeks today. today is also the first day that i have worn maternity jeans. i have been wearing regular jeans, but they are just getting too uncomfortable. i was only a size 3 when i got pregnant, but i just don’t feel like i should already be in maternity clothes!!

we are only TTC right now (taking the test this weekend ) but today i put on my jeans and they were really tight (i no its not because i could be pregnant, i just put on a few pounds during my holiday last week lol) i still wore them though because i had nothing else to put on. i only wore them for half the day but i could clearly feel them digging into my lower abdomen. is this bad for the baby if i am pregnant? also is it bad for the baby to wear tight jeans at any point during a pregnancy?

I am petite and I have trouble looking for maternity clothes that actually fit me. I don’t want to spend a lot on maternity clothes since I’ll eventually grow out of them as my pregnancy goes a long. I could also use some help getting an affordable maternity pillow since my back is starting to hurt when I sleep. Thanks!

I want to get Maternity photos and the place I found does a package, you get pregnancy pictures and then your newborn photos for 650.00 is this about the average photo cost??
The cost includes the maternity photos, newborn and 3 milestone photos, meaning when they start to crawl or walk or what have you. so its a years worth of photos for one price.

I haven’t gone in to the doctor’s to confirm the pregnancy yet, but how in the heck do you manage all of that, when you have a feeling the father might get scared feet and run.

I live with him now.
We’ve been dating for over a year.
It was unplanned.
I’m of legal age.
and I have no where else to go if he runs.
but if he stays, even, how do you support a kid on low income and going to school?
how do you do all that AND give your child the attention it needs.
There’s no way in hell i’d give my kid up for adoption and not know how it’s going to be treated later in life.

and what if there’s medical problems?
and what if we can’t afford it?

Is there someone out there who can give me a detailed explanation of how it’s possible,
and by what resources can you get help.

I need to know what would qualify me for certain plans and insurance and discounts on things like baby clothes, diapers, formula, etc.

because I’m ready to own up to my responsibilities,
but lord knows I’m not prepared as of right now for it.

I want to have a baby, especially with my man. I don’t want the pregnancy or the birth, I just want to have a baby that is mine to take care of. An infant to hold, change, feed, bathe, clean up after…

Obviously, since I’m still in college, I can’t do this right now. Also, at this point in our relationship it would be unrealistic to start a family, even though we’ve talked about babies and even names. How can I deal with these urges without actually becoming a mother?
I’ve actually babysat for much of my life, infants and toddlers, overnight with no sleep. I actually like the idea of the whole package, putting my all into raising a child of mine and my man’s, specifically.

I didn’t save any of my maternity clothes from my last pregnancy.

I went to walmart the other day and they only had shorts and capris and its snowing outside!!

There is a motherhood maternity store at my mall but I find them to be too expensive. I don’t need high fashion, just comfortable for staying around the house, going out shopping, etc.

Where’d you buy yours and how are the prices/selection?
