gave birth 7 and half weeks ago and am back in a size 6-8 clothes. Problem is when im naked in front of mirror my shape has changed a bit on my hips. I have no muscle watsoever in my bum stomache and waist and my skin feels loose. not alot just when i sit down. i still have a linea negra and my whole belly button has gone dark brown. i didnt get big during pregnancy, i was all baby and have no stretchmarks. im 25 years old and this is first baby. I feel really emotional about my now body image any suggestions or am i destined to stay this way with dark mars on my body?

Hey… I’m having a baby shower on the 27th jan my family and friends are orgainsing it for me… I want to help with orgainising it but I don;t know what I should be doing.

What sort of things need to be done and what do u do at a baby shower? I know that sounds pretty dumb but I need to know lol!

And also how late on into the pregnancy did u have urs.

Ill be 29wks and 4 days when i’m having mine and i’m having the twins when i’m 34wks and 6 days. Is that to late to be having a shower.

Do you think its a good idea to make teens have the baby think it over and the pregnancy profile vest? I’ve done both of them and I think I benifited from both. Do you think it should be required in school, or just optional? The baby think it over cries every 3 or 4 hours. You have to rock it when its fussy, feed it, change its diaper etc. You also have to support its neck and not shake it. The pregnancy profile vest has a "head" that moves when you walk. It makes you gain 30 pounds (i think). It makes you have to frequently use the restroom. It also had two feet up by your stomach. It is very hot to wear. Do you think these are even teaching teens anything? Any other opinions?

my entire pregnancy ive kept a blanket on my tummy and whenever i take it off….my tummy is very warm or hot. can this cause harm to my baby at all?

for some reason i’m at a complete loss this pregnancy. everything is different with this pregnancy than it was with my first. i am definitely not prepared for anything, i don’t even feel like i have the motivation to get prepared!!! i have lots of clothes (onesies, sleepers, etc) left over from my first son that are in excellent shape, and we have bought a few clothes– but i don’t even feel like buying many clothes because i feel like with the clothes we have the new baby will have plenty to wear. we went and bought a package of pampers, but i didn’t want to buy many because the dr thought this might be a right large baby, and i don’t want to spend my time returning/exchanging diapers. we have a few packages of wipes, receiving blankets, spit up rags, etc. we did buy one package (3) avent bottles 4oz (i know we need more bottles) and bottle brushes.

i decided not to have a baby shower this time, because i’m not close with any of my friends any more and i feel bad having a party just to get gifts (yes i’m very weird). i also had many things left over from my first son that we could use (clothes, baby bed, crib bedding, etc).

so what else should i get before the baby gets here (outside of more bottles)?

Like my sister is 11 weeks now. Pregnancy is fine.
She wants to start stocking up on things for the baby. But she doesn’t want to get anything that she will or might be getting for the baby shower. Like diapers and wipes…ect..

Okay I am a first time mommy I am 35 weeks pregnant. Is it true that before you go into labor you have this huge burst of energy. If it is true how long after that birst does it really happen. I have had absolutley no energy my whole pregnancy. Even at my baby shower. All I feel like doing is sleeping and laying around. Well today which is sunday. I woke up and I have cleaned all day long. I mean to the point where I took all of his clothes and re washed them. I took the whole room apart and re done it. Even his bed. I have cleaned our house from top to bottom on my knees scrubbin the floors. It is like everything is so messy. And even though I have been cleaning all day long I still feel as if everything is so cluttered. I have bagged up random things to throw out. Also I have been having alot of discharge and pain in my lower abdomen when i urinate and go number two. I have been having really bad back and hip pain. I know I am probley just over worrying. Please only positive thanks!

I’m unable to work due to pregnancy and wonder is there people that donate cloths or other baby items. Especially in the New Orleans area. Help!

When did you guys start to unpack and unwrap baby items? I am currently 12 days from my due date but i am still thinking its to early in the pregnancy, but i have such an urge to take the tags off the baby clothing and wash things and put together all the baby swings and car seat. I am just so worried that something can still go wrong. Also, when was your nursery done and ready for the baby?
