Does anyone know of any patterns for a quick, but pretty baby blanket? Something light since it’s for a spring baby.

I had started an intricate blanket that is slower going that I had thought (I’m a perfectionist, especially when it’s a gift) and I just found out the baby shower is less than two weeks away and I’ve got a lot of stuff going on between now and then.

BTW – I would rate myself as an intermediate crocheter, I’ve been doing it for years but never tackled anything super complicated before.

I’m 19 weeks pregnant and I’m already looking at baby shower stuff & making my guest list. Am I getting too ahead of myself? I’m making it in early January because late December is too busy. My due date is February 27. Am I starting too early?
I’m not planning it by myself.. my best friend is helping me but I HAVE to have a hand in it because I’m a perfectionist and this is my first baby and if there is something I don’t like I will be so pissed! Lol
