What is baby modeling like (for baby and parent)?

I’m sure, just like at any age, modeling is a hard industry to get into for babies. But I’m still curious about what the modeling life is like when it comes to babies.

I’m assuming babies are particularly hard to photograph; if they’re not in a good mood, you can’t get them to just leave it at the door. So, do they just always have an extra baby on hand in case the first baby is crying, or is the parent simply expected to know how to control their 4 month old (i.e. keep the child on a schedule to make sure the photo session doesn’t take place in the middle of a feeding or the witching hour)?

How do parents go about getting their babies into modeling? I’ve heard stuff about modeling scams for kids…how are they getting scammed (parents paying THEM to do an ad)?

I need FREE baby items – financial crisis?

I am in need of baby items, and recently became unemployed. I need diapers, wipes, NEW clothing for a infant, etc.

Where can I get these items? I live in the USA
Okay so paper towels are NOT an option for me and USED clothing is not either for my son. I grew up in a very wealthy family, and paper towels are kind of ridiculous. My family isn’t involved financially with the baby. Thanks for trying to help, but if I wanted to use paper towels or get used clothes I would.
Thanks! I didn’t even think of craigslist, defiantly a great option :) !
IM NOT 18, please stop giving me county things, because I dont qualify because of my parents income… thats the reason im here.

My daughter is 7 month old and I am interested in getting her into modeling. She is very beautiful and I am not just saying that cause I am her mom. EVERYWHERE we go people stop me to comment on her beauty. They all tell me that she is litterally the cutest baby they’ve seen. What is a way of getting her into baby modeling in NYC? Any good agencies? Tips on infant modeling? ect….
First of all, I am not doing it for my own satisfaction. I think my daughter would love it. She is a ham and loves everyone. She is always very happy and like someone said in their answer….she’ll just PLAY and look cute while playing. So I am not "robbing" my child of her youth at all. If she seems "unhappy" in anyway I wouldn’t continue, like some parents do. You people are quick to judge! What about all the other baby models out there? Why not bi*** at their parents? HELL…why any baby models period! Please people…You are just jealous because YOU’RE baby isn’t cute enough to be modeling themselves!

now as someone that works with children i know this is not always the case as children copy what they see around them and there are influences on tele magazines etc. about three years ago i invited her around mine with her young daughter who was five who tried to influence my daughter who was six in sexual play which i stopped before much happened i remember telling my daughter off who told me it was this childs idea and this child suggested playing moms and dads and taking their clothes off (it was at this point i realised and stopped them.) it annoyed me that she thinks that about children who plays like that yet her own child was reacting to mine in that way. she knows of what happened but doesnt know it was her daughters idea so sometimes i wonder if she thinks it was my daughter instigating it and i really wonders what she thinks. i would really like to bring it up to her but dont know how to. its been playing on my mind and it did affect my daughter at the time as she was not use to other kids suggesting to play in that way she is an only child. how do i bring it up and how do i say it to her?
to the third person who answered this question melancholic embrace:
im not saying kids being influenced by television is normal i think kids should be shieled by any inapproriate iimages or sexual content as much as possible all im saying is that children who explore these concepts is not always a sign that they themselves have been the target of abuse so please do not misinterpret my question and yes i do agree that its parents responsibility to sheild and protect what they see and hear but thats not my issue here

I just think it’s ridiculous to be honest. I know no-one’s perfect, and I’m not necessarily getting at teenage pregnancy itself, I’m getting at how much pressure SOME teen mums put on their parents and how much they expect from them. For example, I know this girl who’s 17 and has a baby, and her mum babysits a lot of the time and let’s the her daughter go out and get drunk. I’m sorry, but as a teen mum, you should miss out on those things, it’s your own fault for getting pregnant in the first place. And she’s working all the time while her mum is at home with the baby, I’m sorry but it’s her child so she should look after it. And also the baby seems to have all these expensive luxuries and toys, like a bath seat, a drawing table, designer clothes, a ball pool, I’m sorry but it should only have the basics, especially when the taxes we pay go towards that. And that family always seem to be going on expensive holidays! And they’re not particularly rich either. I also some teen mums who go off to university. I don’t know they can afford it, and I can’t believe they’re parents actually look after their child while they’re at uni.

How to take care of a baby cockatiel bird?

I have a baby cockatiel that was abandoned by his parents in the cage and the parents won’t nurture it so i decided to be the one to take care of him. But i don’t know what to feed him or formula to mix and give him. So if someone can give me some tips to take care of a baby cockatiel, that would be very helpful.

I have this Mickey mouse baby blanket my parents got me when I was born. I still have it now. I sleep with it and carry it around the house with me at home. Ex: if I’m in my room, my blanket is in my room, if I’m in the livingroom, it’s in the livingroom. Etc. Also, if I go to a friends or my boyfriends house, o take it with me. I’m not ashamed or anything. I mean, all my friends know and my parents do too. My boyfriend jokes about it sometimes but he said he thinks it’s cute.
It’s going on 17 years old and it’s getting quite raggedy. So it definitely no goin to be around much longer. The thought of not having it is upsetting. It’s the only thing I have to symbolize the time when my parents were together. They got divorced when I was 2. But I guess that’s why I’m so attached to it.

Is this common? Or is there something wrong with me? How can I try and not be so clingy to it?

so yesterday my septum ring got knocked outta my nose and i went to the piercer to get it put back in and my mom brought my 50 dollars with her expecting it to be really expensive. it was only 5 bucks so my mom asked if i wanted to get my vertical labret done (i’ve been wanting it sort) but instead i asked the piercer if my earlobes were capable of being stretched since they’re so small. she said i could go to a 0g at the most and thats bigger than my goal size anyway and i thought, "while i’m here, why not get it done?" i expected to only get stretched to a 16g but she said i could go to a 12g or even a 10g without problems. (i asked about damaging tissue and stuff). i was kind of hesitant because while researching for months, i’ve read over and over "DONT EVER SKIP SIZES". so i told her that and she said that the jump from 18g to 10g isn’t really that big and that that advice is more geared towards people with larger gauges. so my question is would it be okay (and not cause catbutt) if i were to go to a 12g or even a 10g right away if it’s done by a piercer? she told me it would save me more money and i know that i should be more concerned with myhealth and the results, but her logic did make sense. other facts: it’s not a sketchy piercing place, it’s andromeda which is considered one of the best piercing places in NYC. they don’t take minors without parents being there. i’ve had my ears pierced for almost 5 years. after going to a 10g, i wouldn’t skip sizes anymore.
thanks :)

Others like friends and family. And like you are (/were) SOOO EMBRACED by them!!

My parents had literally 100s of them until I was 13 years and that’s when I burnt them all. Except 1 or 2 which, now, my mom hides.

This has been happening to me lately, and I don’t know what do to.

If I think the child is ugly, should I lie and say the child is beautiful or adorable to make the parents fell better?

Or should I be honest? Isn’t lying a sin?
Wait Wait!!! Lying is not a sin?!!! REALLY?!!

Whoa that’s the best news I’ve heard all night.
Barb: I’m not christian, so I guess you’re right.
