Hi. I am pregnant with twins and at risk of preterm labor. Am currently 31 weeks and babies are both measuring right around 3 1/2 lbs.
I have a few preemie oufits but not sure if I should get more. Not sure at what point to take newborn clothes to hospital instead of preemie.
My sis had a full term baby who had to wear preemie clothes but don’t know what her babies weight was or if it was more a lengh issue.
Any info please.

i am looking for a good, gentle and cost efficient laundry detergent to wash newborn clothes with. I have read even some baby detergents aren’t gentle enough for baby’s skin and was hoping you guys could tell me what worked for you

Im havign a babygirl, and she has about 18 pairs of shoes and alot of clothes. They go up to 12 months, and are season matched for the size.

I didnt not buy most of them, I bought useful stuff, but my mother in law is complaining that she has so much stuff.
&& is saying no one needs to get her anything else.

I dont think im going overboard/ and I did NOT buy most of it, alot of it was gifts.
But me and my mother in law both have more than 17 pairs of shoes, Ill prolly have over 30. and we both have alot of clothes.
So does anyone else see a problem.

The baby needs clothes because unlike us she is going to grow way faster.

I’m kinda venting in a question form, but what is everyone else opinion?
I dont have hardly any newborn clothes.
I have 0-3 3-6 6-9 ect.

And alot of it is season matched(6 months in winter), but it still has tags, so i can take it back or once upon a child or something

and i didnt buy hardly any clothes, I just got alottt of gifts
I couldnt tell the people i didnt want there gifts…

I’ve got some 3-6 months even though my baby hasn’t been born yet but I don’t know how long they grow out of newborn clothes so we’ll just have too see.

I have gone to Walmart, Kmart, and searched online for cute clothes. But finding a newborn size in anything seems almost impossible. Also what size clothes should a newborn wear? My first weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and 0-3 was way too big on her. So this time around I am thinking about purchasing a preemie outfit for my second daughter, since the newborn outfits look way too big as well.
So basically where is the best place to buy a cute outfit for your newborn.
This will be a one time outfit for her hospital pictures. I just wish someone would have told me the some newborn clothes could be too big and that 0-3 would swallow them. why doesn’t anyone inform us of stuff like that.

I let my sister in law borrow all of my daughters newborn clothes. Upon getting them back I found that she had written my daughter’s name in them with a permanent marker! She not only wrote the name on the tags but the clothing that did not have tags she actually wrote on the neck of the clothes and some bled through! I am so upset because I had all intentions of selling these to a consignment shop near my home. They pay top dollar for high end, well maintained, children’s clothing. Not to mention she even wrote on the outfits that I had intended on putting away as keepsakes! The consignment shop I was referring to WILL NOT take them now. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of others in the area that might. My sister in law said that there were others that would but I am not so sure this is true. She states that ALL her friends pass clothes around for their children so they always write names on the tags. She even states she has purchased items from a consignment that had names written on the labels. I myself think it is terribly TACKY! Thoughts? Also, I live north of Atlanta if someone knows of a good place to sell these items to. THANKS!

My baby is 4 ddays old
and weight 8 lbs at birth
and 21 inches
so hes a little long, hes got long
fingers and toes and legs

his mittens will not fit on his hands
they constantly fall off.
but he keeps scratching his face
because he loves to suck
and tries to get his fingers in his mouth

So were going to try and get him some
new mittens today, to see if theyre are
any that will fit him and not fall off
I do have the sleepers that cover his hands at night so he wont scratch them at night
but when were out and its not hott enough to
wear a longer sleeve shirt, i need mittens

Is there any tips or tricks
to getting these to stay on
do they make mittens for preemies?
because his hands fall right out of the
ones he has now
he can barely even fill out the newborn clothes =p

Im trying to buy clothes for my son due in November and having a hard time figuring out weather to buy newborn or 0-3 month clothes.

My mothers side had big babies ranging in the 8-9 lbs
The fathers side has babies ranging in the 7lbs area.

Does a childs birth weight typically come from the mothers side of the family? Im scared if I buy newborn clothes that they may be small and not fit

Hello all,
Today I am finally 9 months (36 weeks) pregnant. I’m almost done with all the cleaning, washing baby clothes, and last minute shopping (I know I waited to the last minute lol). I’m so anxious, nervous, and excited for our 2nd born to be here but I’m dreading what I’m going to have to go through after I have him. My question to all the moms is what are some of the things you hated the most or some things you weren’t expecting after you delivered your baby? Here’s my list:
1. All the continuous bleeding after the fact
2. My fear of sneezing and having a bowel movement because of the soreness.
3. Those awful uterine contractions during breastfeeding.
4. Having to spray myself each time I went to the restroom with that thing they give you in the hospital.
5. Seeing how even the smallest of newborn clothes drowned my baby (we got a couple of preemie outfits this time lol)

We’re going to have our hands full with a newborn and our older son who just turned 12 months. Pray for us

I have a two month a old. She was a preemie. She has finally reached newborn clothes. however, I’m having problems when it comes to feeding time. When i breast feed her she eats all the way until I have no more breast milk left. I have been trying juice and rice cereal but nothing works. I really do not want to put her on formula. please help!
