I need advice pls. I have been seeing this guy who has a two year old daughter. Since this is my first relationship with children involved I am clueless about anything to do with custody or childsupport. This situation is is that the mother and the father have the child 3 1/2 days of each week each, neither of them have custody and they were not married before. The father pays child support each week () while the mother has no job. Before she worked a "few" hours a day until she lost her job. This was not a problem but here lately we feel that the child support is not going to things for the child. While she is unemployed such things as two lap tops, nails and hair kept up monthly and new rainbow shoes have been noticed. The mother lives with her father, pays no rent and has no other bills except a cell phone and gas. This past week when the father went to pick up the child the only thing in the refrigerator was cool aid and a pack of ham (keep in mind that she get food stamps each month also). I mean the mother told the father that she does not even brush the childs teeth because she screams and crys saying also that a mouse chewed up her toothpaste and she can’t afford to get her more. I worked with the child and within minutes got her to brush her teeth on her own. Is there anything that can be done? Why is it right for the father to have to keep up two house holds when he has the child half of the time? Can he instead of paying child support go and get groceries, clothes etc for the child as long as he spends the same amount weekly? Will this stand up in court if he keeps all record of this?

We have kept documentation of everything for months: weight of the child, conversations with mother, behavior changes in the child etc. The father is wanting to take the mother to court but is fearful that it may back fire on him with the NC court system. Any advice?

I’ve seen so many parents paint their children’s nails, even if the kid is under the age of 2. Now, out of personal experience, I’ve seen my daughter stuff her little fingers in her mouth almost constantly every day. So, do they make a baby-safe organic nail polish???

Me and my boyfriend went out for a while so we lend the baby to my mother in law, when we came back home and got the baby back , my baby’s blanket stunk so terrible like dog. My mother in law has a very bad habit of keeping her stinky never bathed dog in the house with worms around babies. I never want to lend her the baby for the very same reason, but the point is I’ve tried washing the baby blanket over and over, again and again with hot water, and still it smells like dog so bad! It’ pisses me off so bad, B/C I hate the stinky wormy dog around the baby and for the blanket to smell that strong and foul till today is because there is no other assumption than to think that my mother in law may have laid the blanket on the floor while playing with the baby and the dog may have got on it. The stupid dog has done it before. I hate the fact that my mother in law even thinks about laying the blanket on the carpet floor where she knows her stinky wormy dog lays all over everything!!! This was a month and a half ago, and the blanket still smells like stinky wet dog. I washed the blanket lots of times and the smell just faded but never actually came off. I’ve tried it all!! Any tips, suggestions, ideas, anything please help!

Should I? I thought. It was to late. The bullet went through his ugly small face, and his brain splattered over my clothes, but I was to busy sadistically laughing as I watched him gasp desperately for life. That was the first time I killed anyone.

I’m 27 and my sister is 28, we’ve never really gotten along very well but it has gotten worse since we have both had children, she has 2 and I have 1, I feel like I sacrifice so much to stay at home with my son where as she has a baby and then gives them to my mum to look after so she can go back to work and do courses and stuff, she doesn’t need to work (anyone who can get their nails done and hair done every couple of weeks and carry around designer handbags doesn’t need to work). But even when shes not working she is always palming her 2 kids off onto my mum, me on the other hand never ever gets a "break" from my son (my husband works away all week and is only home on the weekend) and because mum is so busy with her kids she doesn’t have the time for me and my child. Also my sister constantly takes money from my mum or gets her to pay for groceries or buy the kids new clothes and it drives me mad!!! I used to try and make an effort with her (calling her or going to visit her) but this year I haven’t and I don’t think she has noticed in the past 8 years shes been to my house 3 times, I don’t know what to do about the situation cause it keeps getting worse as we get older, our kids hardly know each other and my son doesn’t know her at all.

I never feel pretty. My mom and friends tell me I’m pretty but I don’t believe them because I know they’re being nice and all.

It doesn’t help that I’ve never had a boyfriend, it makes me feel like I’m undesirable or just really stupid. I’ve even been told that my crush said he didn’t like me cause I am "kinda weird."

I look in the mirror and I only see my flaws.

1.My hair is horrible, never neat, never pretty (I never bother to style it)
2.My face is a mountain range for zits with rivers of oil! (Even though I wash it with a vibrating face cleaner EVERYDAY)
3.My eyebrows are too thick and bushy and ratty (I have to wax them a lot)
4.My shoulders are too wide.
5.My boobs are too small. (YES I SAID IT!)
6.I have sort of a baby belly
7.My hips are too narrow
8.My legs are toothpicks
9.My arms are twigs with hair on them. (thanks dad)
10.I’m too short
11.My face is too masculine (again…thanks a lot dad)
12.I hate my voice
13.I hate my face
14.I’m so small! (Thanks mom…)
15.I can never keep my nails clean
16.I get so many scratches in random places I look emo
17.I have too many birthmarks
18.I have creases on my stomach from sitting down all day
19.My teeth aren’t straight or white
20.I’m altogether unattractive!!!!

I could list more things in greater detail but you don’t want to know this stuff.

I actually go into photo editing programs on my computer and edit my face. When I compare the before and afters I feel even worse. I spend most of my life on this stupid computer, I type faster then anyone I know and can find anything on the interenet. Images, quotes, clothes, you name it.

I don’t know why I’m such a pessimistic little freak. I compare my life to that of my beautiful best friend who has everything, clothes, looks and guys. I’m just the background girl who smiles and nodds when her friends tell her about their boyfriends.

I just cant seem to snap out of it and actually talk to someone I like, or any guy who is not my friend’s boyfriend. I don’t like going out, even if its shopping or a movie. And I feel uncomfortable in miniskirts without leggings or string tanktops.

I just really need someone that isn’t my friend to say I’m pretty, but even then I doubt I’ll believe them. How do I get over my extreme shyness and feel happy about my looks?
(By the way, I’m only 14.)

Ok my best friend just called me and told me to look up some information on how to deal with a controlling boyfriend. Let me give some history on the situation..First of all there is a 9year age difference between them. She just turned 21 and Hes 30. He calls her dumb and stupid very chance he gets. If she doesn’t drive a certain why hes yelling and cursing at her. He tells her she doesn’t listen and yells are curse at her about that. He doesn’t all her to buy the type of clothes she wants to wear. If its not designer he doesn’t like it. He tells her what to wear. Doesn’t like when she gets her nails done. Doesn’t like her to wear make up. Shes told her she can’t read and that shes stupid. Hes told her before they were together she didn’t have anything and that she was a ghetto hood rat. She’s called her a dumb b*@#$! He’s hit in the head with a baby bottle while driving…She said that hes chocked her before but he was playing and serious at the same time. I think that’s enough you guy get where I’m going with this. He doesn’t tell her anything about his past. She calls me all the time crying to me and asking for advice but she just doesn’t listen. She says she love him that’s why she still with him. To be perfectly honest guys I’m getting sick of it. I get to the point where I don’t even want to answer the phone. Its just always drama drama drama. She wants to know how should she deal with a controlling boyfriend…I say she should leave him and don’t look back. How can you love a man that treats you that way?
