He seems to be smaller than most 7,8,9,10 months old babies that often see when we are out and about. He looks about 6 months old but he is 10 months. Even his face looks very baby like as in his features look like the face of a 3 month old baby. He is super healthy haven’t been sick or anything. He is being fed Similac Alimentum most of his life as he is allergic to soy ( gets horrible hives) and lactose intolerant. He also eats baby food 3 times a day but he dislikes the baby food with texture and is unable to eat baby puffs or anything with texture because he chokes. So we feed him stage #2 Sprout organic baby food.

I’m wondering if he’s not getting the needed nutrients for growing. He just looks so tiny in comparison to other babies his age.

My 2.5 month old baby boy has a few speaks on blood on his babygro every morning. The blood comes from his left nipple and I am very worried about it. I have spoken to my doctor about it and she has said she will look it up! Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Is it normal for a 5 month old baby boy to be wearing 12 month clothing?

It’s not my child it’s my little cousin. It just seems sort of odd that a baby that young would be wearing clothing that large. Hes a big boy but only weighed 8lb at birth.

My 11 month old baby wont eat table foods. She seems to eat baby food from the jar without too many problems. But won’t take table food. I’ve tried bananna, potatoes, chicken, and scrambeled eggs. Every time she does this whole drama gagging act and spits it out. The food is small enough for her to mash and swallow but she wont eat it. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to compare her to others but it seems like she is behind other babies her age as far as eating goes.

I have a 7 month old baby who is started to become mobile, he will be fully crawling in just a few weeks. our upstairs will be the play room area but our stair case is very wide, and a normal baby gate does not fit it, also our house is very colonial house and i dont think a plastic one would look so great, any suggestions where i would get one?

I entered my son into a babys R us contest and the winners won’t find out til halloween. Since then my friends and family keep mentioning that I should enter him into modelling because he looks like a doll. I’m not sure if i should really consider it so what does everyone think of it. Any advice is worth considering. I’m not sure since he is my first child. I don’t want to exploit him in any way.

suneer I appreciate the opinion/comment but i didn’t ask what you thought of my child I asked what you thought about child modeling. I don’t want to exploit him, and by entering him into a contest with a picture I previously took hardly qualifies as exploitation.
The more I read the comments I am starting to agree it’s a no. I enjoy taking pics of my son for my friends and family but he gets fussy after 5 lol. I would never get involved in pageants or photo shoots type deal so I guess end of story baby modeling for my munchkin is a no.

Yesterday it was pretty nice out too and she wore jeans and a t shirt, but today there’s a family gathering, so I was going to put something pretty on her. I know shedoesn’t have to wear something special, but I’m just not sure if I should put a dress on her, because I don’t want her to get too cold. So, would you put a dress on your 7 1/2 month old baby girl, if it was in the high 60′s? Thanks

At birth, my son was 8 pounds 13 ounces and 20 inches long. Two days after i was released from hospital he gained three ounces. The doctor said babies usually lose weight. At his 2 mont check up he was 13 pounds 11 ounces and 25 inches. He goes for his 4 month check up tomorrow and he will be weighed. I was just wondering what the average weight is for a 4 month old baby boy. I breast feed him. And he’s about the same size as my sisters 6 month old baby, just a little bit skinnier.

Hi girls,

My 3 month old baby has two rashes on his face. They are both near his ears on either side. They are really red & bumpy. The skin is really rough to touch. There are loads of little pimples on and around it too! I have been moisturizing them a lot as it feels really dry.

What do you think could have caused this? Should I see my babies doctor?

My answers: Right now I stay at home all day with my almost 4 month old baby girl. I work part time at night and am usually off by 9. Daddy or a family member watches baby when I’m at work so I feel like I have the best of both world’s. I work 20-25 a week nights and weekends. I always have off sunday, monday, and thursday.
I live at home right now until our wedding in April. We would like to own but will rent if need be. If we can get a mortgage the same price as renting we’ll do that, but we don’t want to be house poor.
Only have one baby right now. Thinking about keeping it that way but would kind of like to try for a boy after the wedding maybe. Don’t really want to go through all that pain gain though. Just got back into my old clothes and don’t know if we would really be able to afford it.
Have a cat right now and when we get our own place, he would like to get a dog. I’m not picking up after it though.
Had regular diapers pretty much so far. Tried huggies natural care, but huggies seem to suck kind of.
Traded in my Honda (which was in the shop all the time) for a Ford.
