I bought special detergent for my 1 week old baby’s clothes so it’s sensitive on her skin, but I couldn’t find the fabric softener that I used when I had my first baby (or any fabric softener for newborn clothes at all), so I’m wondering if it’s ok to use the "Snuggle" dryer sheets or if I shouldn’t use anything at all. Experienced moms, please give me the 411. 10 pts for whoever makes the most sense.

Flushable biodegradable diaper liners–are these even necessary?

My other question is, what do you think I’ll need for nighttime diapering? I was thinking I would just use the Flip cover with a prefold and extra insert…or I’d figure out what works best when baby comes. Thanks for the advice CD-ing moms!

Well were I live it is only going up to about 70 today and yesterday it was about 80. Summer is really over next week. But sometimes we get indian summer. I will definitely have the shorts done in October. My son is almost 11 months. But I was just asking other moms how do you decide on this.

I have done all type of research and now i am seeking the advice from experienced moms. I am having a hard time buying sandals for my baby that will be born in July. I have seen some 0′s but my mom seems to think that even that will be too big at birth. What size should i look into and are there any good sites or stores that sell cute sandals for newborn girls?

I’m just wondering how many I’ll need to buy assuming that I won’t use disposable training pants except for outings. Also, to any moms out there who know—how long was your kid wearing training pants before switching to regular underwear? I’ve heard boys are slower with potty training than girls. Thanks in advance!

Do you have any diapers, Enfamil Lipil formula, baby wipes, or baby boy clothing that you no longer need?

I had an unexpected rapid-growing ovarian tumor and three surgeries and have had lots of medical problems within the last year which caused severe financial difficulties. We do not qualify for WIC (we have to be 100-185% below poverty in our state), I have to formula-feed for medical reasons, and I do not have family to help me.

Money is extremely tight right now, I am giving birth to a baby boy in November, and we can use all the help we can get. We still need many items for our little one. I would be more than happy to send you some coupons or other items that I have today. Please let me know at shamrocklove@yahoo.com.

I’ve been getting ready for my little one to arrive at the end of June. We’ve got a ton of baby stuff, and this weekend I was washing it and putting it away. I’ve already lost a baby sock. LoL!

Autumnishere, I had the tumor before we got married and therefore was not covered under my husband’s insurance. Most insurance companies would not cover me and the one that did charged me 00 a month. You’ve made me feel even lower by having to ask for help. Despite your true ignorance, I still hope that someday you never have to experience this. Good luck to you.
