Ok, it’s a long messed story, but anyway we don’t have insurance right now. They are still trying to process our paper work. We don’t live on a military base or near one. My 10 month old baby’s ear infection is coming back and she needs some medicine. But the doctor’s expect you to pay them today if you don’t have ins. I just don’t have that much money today. What should I do?
We have a medquick center that is open 7 days a week and it’s walk in no app. I will call them when they open this morning and see if I could just pay them a little money today and the rest next week.
Once again we DO NOT live on a military base. I know health care is free there but we are 3 hours away from the nearest one.
I took her to the emergency room this morning. Turns out she has ear infection in both ears and her temp was 103.9!

Or is it like taking sanity medicine away from crazy people who will become dangerous without their medicine?

I know you shouldn’t give medicine to a sick toddler but what are some natural remedies to help settle and soothe his stomach after he ate something bad?

My 8 month old, my husband and myself are going on a 1 week beach vacation next weekend. I always pride myself on how good of a diaper bag I pack but for this long of a a trip I’m having a little bit of trouble figuring out what things are absolutely necessary. What would you recommend bringing? I know a playpen, toys, clothes, formula, food, medicine and the like, but what else should be required? She eats solids so I told my husband we should bring her highchair and he said it is unnecessary and that we can just feed her in her walker. What do you thinkl? Thanks

I’m 15 and female i’ve been wetting the bed lately and sometimes even my pants during the day. So recently i’ve been stealing my little baby bro’s diapers and wearing them to school and while i sleep. My mom just found out and took me to the doctor last week. He said i have an urinary infection, he gave me some medicine and sugested i wear diapers until it passes over. So now my mom is letting me buy my own diapers, bringing me back to my question. What brand and size diapers should i buy?

Since my daughter is 9 months old and will be walking soon – hubby and I need to baby proof-
On my list I have:
fix mini blind cords
put locks on cabinets and drawers
gate for the kitchen
I already have covers over the electric sockets
…
What do you do with your medications- just keep them up high? I always read that you should keep them in a locked medicine cabinet-but I’ve never seen one.
Any baby proofing tips?
Thanks in advance!
Judi

The four fang teeth in the front, the last of the teeth to come in before the 2 year molars? Bradley is 17 months old and the poor thing is getting in all 4 canines at the same time! He hasn’t slept a good night’s sleep in two weeks, he wakes up everday from his nap with a fever and drooling and he’s is grinding his teeth constantly. He calls his medicine (ibuprophen) "satin" and constantly whines that he wants "satin" which tells me he is pain a lot (I try to only give him it at night). When did your toddler get their canines and how did they do with them? Any suggestions for helping the little guy? Orajel is useless and he hates frozen washclothes.
Very Proud Mommy: I ALMOST felt stupid…..until I made sure I WAS right about calling them canines.
