Im trying to prepare for winter and i know its a little early lol but i was wondering when the hoodies at hollister went on sale online
My sis is having her baby pretty soon and asked me to buy her the clothing the baby should wear when we take him out of the hospital. I told her I wouldn’t buy it, but I actually am just want it to be a surprise. Although now I’m a lil confused as to what to buy. I know you need an undershirt, but what else?Shoes? Maybe to young for shoes or what ideas do ya’ll have. Don’t know what its going to be boy or a girl. She didn’t want to know. So this makes it even harder although my mother thinks it’ll be a girl and she usually never wrong, but the docs thinks it’ll be a boy, and they usually never wrong.lol so can ya’l give any ideas. I’m thinking of something purple cause my sis luvs purple. Oh before I forget where can I buy it too?
My sis knows what the baby should wear it is me who doesn’t. She has all the stuff already, and I’ve told my mom I was going to buy it so don’t take anything thats why it is so dam important that i buy all that the baby will need cause I know sometimes they won’t let you leave the hospital without some of these things.
I’m a goth mommy looking for some "odd" crib bedding… And I’m buying a mini crib just to make it more difficult… Lol. So is there anywhere where I could find some odd mini crib sheet set? Or just something different than the usual jungle, teddy bear, pink theme… Blah. Thanks!
I’m due in February with a baby boy and I’m not sure what size clothes I should be buying. My mother-in-law keeps buying 3-6 and 6-9 month winter clothes for him. She think that he’s going to wear 3-6 months clothes when he’s born and be in 12 months clothes by summer and i’m worried that they are going to way to big. I am a small person (5’3" and 100lbs before I got pregnant) and my husband is pretty average size (around 6′) and I don’t think our baby is gonna be that big. I don’t wanna be rude and tell her that I think she’s crazy LOL but I don’t want to have all of these clothes that i’m not gonna be able to use. Please help me!
P.S. I’ve tried to mention that friends of mine babies wore Newborn to 0-3 months at birth, and she just kinda blows it off, and says "Well your baby isn’t gonna be like that" like she’s expecting me to have a 15lb baby or something! LOL

I am 9 weeks 3 days. I suppose it is bloating and my widening body (lol). But I find my regular clothes to be a bit too snug for comfort. When did most of you gals have to start wearing maternity clothing?
I am only 6 and a half weeks along – with my second and though I am not showing yet, my clothes are a little uncomfortable – especially my jeans. I feel strange wearing maternity clothes this early, but I tried on my "fat" jeans and they are too baggy and look like they don’t fit. I was thinking the maternity jeans with only the slight elastic in the back would be a viable option. I already have a few pair. This is odd to me because I am 3 sizes smaller than the last time I got pregnant, but in my undies, I can tell a bit of a bulge and I can definitely FEEL the fact that in my lower abdomen only, I am changing a little. LOL What do you think? Maternity clothes, be uncomfortable, or go with the baggy look? I am still an average size 8 and want to look hot throughout this pregnancy!
My husband and I have completely different styles, he has horrible taste and so sometimes goes behind my back and buys clothing items for our son he knows I would never approve of. The last one were Lacoste tennis shoes (60dlls!!!) I was so pissed, especially since I had just gotten him 3 pairs of shoes (ae and childrensplace) for less than that, THREE!..argh, they are so ugly and more importantly, they hurt his feet!! … It sure feels good to get this off my chest, lol…
So my Q is.. Does your children’s father sometimes decide to take the kids shopping for clothes??
Yeah pdooma but you would never throw away 60dlls on shoes that fit too tightly on your son
I see so many Moms on here stating that it’s okay for them to fall asleep on the couch while their children play because their homes are baby/child proofed, but what does that really mean you to? Surely there is STILL a way for your child to get into something that he / she shouldn’t be getting into.. or falling off of something (couch, chair, table..) that he / she shouldn’t be climbing on but most likely will. Im just curious. No bashing. I am actually in the process of needing to Baby proof. My girl is now crawling and discovering that she can get to things that she normally couldn’t (the cabinet with all of our dvds is the most recent..lol)!
Squill ; I actually was not talking about you.. I ran over your question AFTER I posted this though.. Im sorry! (:
They also say they let their children play outside alone because it’s Baby Proofed. I just want to know what ‘Baby Proofed’ means to them! (:
Rebecca ; I agree. I nap when Aubree does (on the weekends, I work full-time during the week).. (: She is never left alone unsupervised. She’s only 11 months though…
