I am taking on a babysitting job for a 5 week old infant. What to I need to know in terms of handling and caring for him?
I know how to take care of babies, I’ve just never taken care of one at 5 weeks exactly, and I know that there are developmental differences week to week. I am a 30 year old adult with lots of experience. I’m just looking for pointers from parents and other childcare providers.

I work for a high fashion company and they are having a big sale on the items. The problem is that the prices are so high that even after the discount its still so high.
I’m a single parent and I really can’t afford it but they people at my job are really making me feel like crap, asking me all day "why aren’t u going to the store to buy things for ur baby"
My son has so much clothes and toys he really does not need anything but i cannot help but feel the urge to go anyway.

My son’s girlfriend is expecting a boy. She is on Medicaid and they don’t pay for it. Both of them are insisting it has to be done but neither of them have a job to pay for it. They insist they are going to get it done somehow. How long after the baby is born (due August 9) can they wait to get a circumcision?
I forgot to say neither of them work and I can’t pay for it. Medicaid doesn’t consider it necessary.

I am 15 weeks pregnant. I live in the tristate suburban area. I am planning to resume my job about 4 months after the baby will be born. I heard day cares have limited capacity for infants and have longer wait times… any idea how soon one needs to start looking for a day care?

I am almost 15 weeks and my pre-pregnancy clothes do not fit at all. I was wearing them up until last week with the button and zipper open and a belly band but theya re just too uncomfortable. Now, my belly is not poking out but it is much bigger than before. Rather than having 3 or 4 different stages of clothes, I just want to start wearing maternity clothes. They are comfortable and it makes sense to me. I am proud to show off my belly.
A woman at my job came up and asked me today how far along I am so I told her 15 weeks. She looked at me like I was an idiot and asked why I was wearing maternity clothes already cause my belly is barely poking out. I told her it was more comfortable. She laughed and said "But you are barely pregnant". I snapped back that she "Barely had any class" and just walked away.
When did you start wearing maternity clothes and do you think I am strange for starting at 15 weeks if my belly is growing and my old clothes aren’t fitting?
I could care less about her opinion but it really annoyed me. (Imagine that – a pregnant woman annoyed!)

I had an online baby store that carried organic baby diapers, clothes, carriers, and toys. I have closed my online store. Started trying to sell on e-bay what a waste of time. I had to auction each item one at a time and then the shipping is ridiculous.
A woman at my job mentioned that her father traveled flea markets with his merchandise and made good money. My question is I live in a small town and I don’t think my products are in high demand here due to the prices…because everything is organic I had to pay more so prices are a little higher. If I travel to a huge market about 3 hours from here I am wondering if it will be worth the effort?
Any advice

I am going to Egypt in the summer, and i have been warned that if going into the sea, coral shoes are a must. However, i would prefer to buy something i would be more inclined to wear again, and although to be honest they are not that attractive, i was wondering if crocs would do the same job?

I chose my day care lady because 2 people at work take their kids to her. They sware by her that she does a great job and so forth. The last week I have gone to pick her up she has been in the baby swing in another room away from the other kids(in the front of the house as you walk in). Some times she is sleeping and sometimes she is awake.
I have said something to my husband about it, but he keeps saying its fine. How do you feel about this? I just hope she doesn’t leave her in that swing all day!!!!! She did say something to me last week that she doesn’t want me to think she always puts Addison in her swing. I just worry!
Addison is 5 months old
