How we managed to go an entire year w/out travelling on a plane w/ our now 14 mo. old daughter…no idea. But…we’re a week out from our first trip and the packing trade-off begins. We’re headed to Portland, Oregon for Thanskgiving. Staying at a Hotel downtown. Figuring we do not need a car as we’ll be in walking distance of most things and visiting friends otherwise. Big question…do we take a car seat?? What about from the airport to the hotel via taxi? I’ve never paid attention…how do Infants/Toddlers travel in taxi’s? Aside form the obvious (clothes, lovies, etc)…any other tips on what to take and what to not bother?

I’m searching some photos of just generic people to put a faces with the characters for my modern-setting Role-Playing Game. They aren’t intended to be pretty, muscular, or necessarily in ideal physical condition. I just want pictures of generic people.
I’m looking pictures of kids, teens, and young adults mostly, but infants, toddlers, middle aged, and senior photos would be good, too. I just want photos like you’d see in a Wal-Mart or Target ad modeling the clothes that are on sale. When I do searches for models or just people, I end up getting images of a somewhat promiscuous nature, which is nearly an antithesis or what I’m looking for. On the occasion that I do find something along the lines I’m looking for, 9 out or 10 times it’s got “SAMPLE” printed across it, and that just won’t do. Anyone have any ideas at all?
Yes, I could take pictures of my friends and use them, but for one, my friends are all ready playing the game, and for another, my friends don’t always look like the characters I’m using in the game.
Something as simple as school pictures would be great.
I don’t want to give anyone my credit card number or home address or anything in order to access a couple of photos; that’s dumb.

I’d love to work from home to be closer to my children and have thought of many ways i can accomplish this. One way I have "discovered" is my love for designing, sewing, and just letting my creative juices flow. I’ve thought of a home-based affordable infants/toddlers/children’s line of clothing. How likely is this area of "business" to be successful? Anyone know of someone who has done the same thing and has had quite a success with it? Any examples? or websites?any tips on starting an at-home business?

(Carter’s, I-Play, Sozo, ect.) I heard there was a clothing brand that was causing newborn, infants, toddlers, skin to rash up or get irritated. I recieved a lot of different brands from my baby shower.
