Ok..I have no clue as to what is supposed to be "ok’ or "standard" but my friends wife is having a baby shower ….and I just some newborn infant clothes for her. Now is that considered "Normal" or "standard:" gift for someone who ‘s celebrating baby shower

So this is more of a funny comment than a question…It amazes me, the sizing of baby clothes can be SO different depending on brands etc. I swear the people that do the sizing for infant clothes companies have NEVER had children before. I have a 7 month old daughter, and yes I realize that some children are larger or smaller for their age than "average" but come on…I went to the store to buy some onsies for my little one and I found somethat were 0-6 months….and 3-9 months. ARE YOU KIDDING?? My daughter was not even close to being able to wear the same size onsie when she was 3 months to now at 7 months. I have found that Carter’s brand has been most accurate. Anyone else have comments about this? I would LOVE to hear!

How appropriate is it to have a baby shower?

My mother really wants to throw me a baby shower for our latest child. Problem is we just had a child (same sex as the one due to be born) a little less then 3 yrs ago. We really don’t need any big items. We still have the crib, all the cloth diapers, bouncer, swing, playpen, and a box of infant clothes still. I feel like it would be seen as inappropriate and selfish to hold another shower but she says that it is silly to think like that. A baby shower is to be held to celebrate the upcoming birth of a baby no matter what his/her birth order, according to her. My husband is dead set against it as he said the only things we need are a new car seat and a few clothes. I’m not sure what to do as it would obviously upset my mother to not throw a shower and upset my husband to have one.

Ok I have Winrar and I Want to download cribs and baby stuff with recolors like swings ect. And I want to download infant clothes like when their first born they will have clothes on and I don’t know why I have to put it in my sims 2 downloads when all my other downloads from thesims2.com is in my sims 2 double deluxe download folder soo with that said I need a good super perfect answer 
please ;( And don’t say read the idiot thing on mod the sims -_- ” cause I did and I understand but they don’t show on my game and I have the color thing ceo or something like that but how am I supposed to use that just download it and that’s it like come on. Any way I want to download the swing and bouner and stuff like that their is no mesh.! somebody please help.Oh Yea and when I extract here I don’t get a icon on the things that pop up when it says extract here. If you had an ultrasound done at 16 weeks and the tech said she’s guessing that the baby is a girl, would you go ahead and start buying baby clothes? I have a niece who’s a toddler, and I go shopping for her and I always have to look at the infant clothes and I like the little dresses so much I want to buy my daughter some, but I haven’t had a ultrasound since 16 weeks. Was any of you told you was having a girl at 16 weeks and had a boy? Would you go ahead and start preparing for a girl?

I stopped by my local goodwill to see if I could find any onesies for my son to sleep in today. 
Hardly any infant clothes. Anyway, just a random question
Am I strange or is anyone else kinda ‘skeeved out’ by bras and shoes being there? I know bras can be washed but there is just something about a used bra that weirds me out. I mean, in reality it is no different than a shirt, so IDK why I have an issue with it.
I realize some people can’t afford them, they are expensive (hence me having only 3) so I’m not knocking anyone who does buy them, just wondering if I was a weird-o.

I lost my first grandchild on August 9.She was a beautiful stillborn baby girl.I held my daughter’s hand during 16 grueling hours of labor that was induced after it was found that the baby’s heart had stopped.
Today I was shopping,and in front of me was a lady purchasing infant clothes.She began to tell the cashier that her first grandchild was just born yesterday,and how exciting it is.
I began to weep,trying to hold it back.
Is this a normal reaction,even 3 months later now?
