but not so much after she has had the child?

I know some pregnant women (not pregnant now) that were in need of some things for the baby. Everyone jumped to find their old cribs, bassinets, car seats and gently used infant clothes.

Now, I know some of the children at my kids schools are in need of things. I mentioned to one of the moms I know, that I was cleaning out our office and we had an old bunk bed (about 2 years old) and I might put a flyer up at the school for someone to just come take it. Also, a few bags of gently used children’s clothing.
She said that was weird.. why not take it to goodwill? I thought, well, because they will CHARGE for it there. I just want to give it away.

I notice everyone is anxious to step in for new babies and pregnant women, but is it really considered weird to offer things to older children (5 to 12)?
I wouldn’t make the flyer sound like charity. I would just something like, "Pink Bunk Bed, excellent condition. Must go- so Free to first person that responds!" And then something similiar for the clothing.

what are your lo’s going as? hunter just turned 1 and he will be 13 months at halloween and he will be going as dumbo. i went to this great place called once upon a child, its a used childrens clothing store that buys all your used baby things. I sold some infant clothes and i got hunter a dumbo costume, authentic disney dumbo for 8 bucks!

I stopped by my local goodwill to see if I could find any onesies for my son to sleep in today. Hardly any infant clothes. Anyway, just a random question
Am I strange or is anyone else kinda ‘skeeved out’ by bras and shoes being there? I know bras can be washed but there is just something about a used bra that weirds me out. I mean, in reality it is no different than a shirt, so IDK why I have an issue with it.
I realize some people can’t afford them, they are expensive (hence me having only 3) so I’m not knocking anyone who does buy them, just wondering if I was a weird-o.

how much should i charge for the stuff

O.k. let me see if i can get this straight…Angelina and Brad pitt have millions of dollars but for the first cover photo shoot of their new baby girl shiloh, they dress her in boy clothing on the front cover of this weeks people complete with a skull teeshirt. I’m not a millionaire but when i brought both my kids home from the hospital, they were in cute infant clothes. has anybody else thought of that when they saw the cover.
They are already saying in the article, that she has brad’s blue eyes, Well of course, all babies have blue eyes when they are born(Duh)!!! and angelina’s full lips, which i did not think so…i personally do not think it was a cute baby but only time will tell.

The closest one I can find is in Monroe, and someone said they dont have a lot of variety at the carters store, so i dont want to waste my time on that. I can’t really find any that are relatively close when i google it. People have mentioned that there are quite a few outlet malls around. I guess I should have listened a little more. I mainly want to go for Infant clothes. Like carters or something. Any help, be appreciated. thanks!

I bought some infant clothes off of Craigslist last night and this is the second time they’ve been through the washer. They don’t smell horrible, just as if they’ve been stored for a long time. Any tips/tricks to get them smelling decent? It’s sunny outside so I have thought about hanging them out to dry when they get done washing.

I recently purchased my infant clothes from old navy before they never went off at the door, but now they do. Does old navy have new sensors? I checked her clothes and there wasn’t anything on them. I know they have sensors on jeans and certain tops.
