I am solely breast feeding my 6 week old son. He seems very fussy most of the time, and spits up a massive amount after nearly every feed. I’ve gone through 5 burp cloths and 3 clothing changes in the past 5 hours. He is gaining weight fine and is otherwise healthy and normal. I’ve heard of reflux-is that what this is? I have his 2 month check up soon and will ask the doctor, but am hoping for some insight from other experienced parents. Thank you!

Looking for hip maternity clothing. I am 24 years old and this is my first time pregnant. I have a very small frame, although I am of course gaining weight, but most maternity clothing still looks huge on me. I love the maternity clothing that Isabella Oliver designs, but I am not wanting to spend a hundred dollars on 1 shirt. Thanks for any help.

When should I start my 4 1/2 month old on baby cereal? He’s now half breastmilk (I pump) fed and half formula fed. What age did you start your baby on cereal? And how do I go about starting him on it. What type or brand should I use? He now has 4 oz of breastmilk (or formula) about every 3 hours during the day, 4 hours at night. He’s gaining weight just fine on what he’s eating now, he’s more than 15 pounds.

Do I start with only the cereal, when do I start giving him the jar baby food?

I’m almost 5 months pregnant (19 weeks), but I don’t look like it at all. I’m 5′ 7”, and weighed about 140 pre-pregnancy. I was always slim, but never skinny. And I’ve always had very wide hip bones. Anyways, I’ve gained over 10 pounds, but it just looks like a layer of fat. I have no round tummy. My old clothes dont fit, and maternity just looks baggy. I eat like a horse, and feel fine, so it’s not like I’m just not gaining weight. I also cant feel the baby yet, as much as I try. I worry alot about my baby, and peoples comments dont help. I get everything from "Are you sure your pregnant?" or "You need to eat more!" or "Are you sure about the dates, because your so tiny!" (People say this infront of my boyfriend, which doesn’t make him feel real good.) And the worst is "Are you sure nothing is wrong with the baby?" I worry enough without these comments. How should I handle it? I try to ignore it, but I hear it so often. Has this happened to anyone else? When will I look pregnant!?!?

ok my son will be 6 months on the 14th, he has been reaching his milestones one after another after another.. he has one tooth through the gum and two i can see coming, he can roll over both ways immediatly after laying him down, he pulls his feet up to his mouth, shakes toys and picks them up, removes pacifier and tries (sooo cute!) to replace it.. he can sit if i hold his hips, bbut is wobbly and falls forward if i let them go. now to his size.. he still fits into some newborn clothes and wears all 0-3 month clothes all brands.. he was 5 weeks early weighing 6 7.7 and 19.5 inches long, he has grown roughly ( its darn hard to try to measure an awake baby at home lol) 25.5 in and roughly weighs 12.5-13 lbs. his head still measures the same as at his last appt at 3 months where they put him on nutramigen because he wasnt gaining weight on enfamil and breastmilk. . i feel like he is still sooooo small compared to other children.. i just need comfort, he has an apointment coming up but im so nervous that he is growth wise soooo far behind. ( my great grandmother was at her tallest 4 foot 10 )
thank you for all the answers! it sounds terrible but please dont judge me, i never met his biological fathers family, but from what i was told they are all kinda short, but fat.. he left us when i found out i was pregnant and the army has a great way of hiding people.. My mothers side (great grandma, my grandpa , my mom and one aunt, and myself are all around 5’5 and average+ a bit o’ love lbs.. ) are all shorter, my moms mother, My father and his entire family are in the high 5 feet to 6’5 range. . so seeing Gabe in my father and brothers arms it really takes me back a few steps.. he seemed huge to be a premie, and he was, but its like he hasnt grown much since then.. i love him even if he stays the size he is now.. my little man. <3

Ok so heres the deal…I am 34 weeks pregnant with my first baby! I am very very excited to have him! I am getting very anxious…his room is all ready, his clothes are washed, his crib is all set up! I always think about what he will look like, and how he will act. So basically I am very excited to meet my son and I love him to death already. BUT I do have feelings where I am just sick of being pregnant, gaining weight, not sleeping, and feeling like crap all the time. Especially in the morning time because I cant fall asleep until 3 am and I wake up at least once an hr to go to the bathroom or move into a different position. Sometimes I feel like crying because I am so mad I am still pregnant and I cannot get any sleep. My hips hurts so bad and my back is always sore. I dont mean to sound like I am complaining because I know it is all worth it in the end. I was just wondering if any other moms feel like this. Like do you guys feel like this is never going to end and that you just cant wait to not be pregnant anymore and get back to your old self? Please only polite and helpful answers and thanks ahead of time ladies!!

My 8 month old daughter is eating stage 2 baby foods. I have looked in my books for specific amounts on how much to feed her but the books only say take out only enough for what you will use. With a 4 oz jar I take out 10-15 baby spoonfuls of food which is about 1/2 the jar and then give her formula after wards. She seems happy and full and is gaining weight so I must be doing something right. Any suggestions from the moms here.
