Ok so there will be a Children’s Consignment coming to my town next month. They will only be excepting Spring/ Summer clothing. Would footed pajamas/ sleepers be considered Fall/Winter or do you think they would let me bring them?

Thanks.

I live in the south and it gets hot here in the summer. Of course we keep our air conditioning on about 72. My daughter is 5 months and since its been winter she’s been in footed pajamas. Do you keep them in footed pj’s because they can’t have blankets? Or do you switch to a short sleeve or onesie?

For whatever reason, I think that women in leotards are very sexy. I also think that women in footed pajamas are cute and sexy as well. I suspect that both of these are a little on the unusual end. I would like to be rid of these quirks. Any ideas how?

I am looking to purchase the nonslip type fabric used on the bottoms of footed pajamas, but I don’t know what it’s called. I need something that can be machine washable and dryable.

Does anyone else find this ridiculous? ?

My son is 17 months old and someone gave him some really warm footed pajamas for the winter. I LOVE them. Here is the problem. They button up the front. Am I the only the one that finds this a problem? Babies this age teeth! Especially at night! Why would a clothing manufacturer put buttons on a piece of clothing that an infant wears to bed? I would never put my infant in anything with buttons, especially at bedtime. Who’s to say he isn’t going to start chewing on the buttons and pop one off right into his mouth and right down his throat? When he was little I was given a packet of onesies with cute little tiny buttons for decorations on them. Why?! Shouldn’t these clothes be recalled for choking hazards? Am I overreacting here or what?

My son is 3 months old and just got his 3 month shots today [4 of them] and he’s got a 99.3 temperature [which his doctor said is normal] but he’s being fussy which is very rare for him! He never cries.
He got the shots at 10:30 this morning and now it’s 10:40pm. so it’s been exatly 12 hrs. He slept most of the day after the shots .. but now it’s bedtime and he’s being fussy. I feel so bad for the little guy :[
My house temperature is 78º .. and I have him dressed in some footed pajamas .. should I put him in something cooler since he has a fever?? Or should I leave him bundled up? [it's what he usually sleeps in at night].
He’s never been fussy before, so I know it’s some reaction to the shots. I’m just wondering if I have him dressed too warm to go to bed? [since he's running a slight fever].
Should I put him in a onsie with a light blanket rather than the pajamas [to make him cooler?]
I’ve already given him a small dose of Infant Tylenol.

thanks! :]
Kristel – the medicines were taken off of the shelf because the dosage directions were wrong, there wasn’t anything wrong with the actual medication that was on the shelves.
My sons Pediatrician [who was also my husbands Pediatrician when he was a kid] said to give him Infant Tylenol, he’s been in the business for over 30 years .. I figure he knows what he’s doing :]
Hey everyone —
thank’s for all your answers! I changed my bundle of joy into a gown and tucked him in a silk blanket, and he’s sleeping like a baby :]
Whew, not looking forward to anymore shots! That wasn’t fun .. he cried and I cried. I think it hurt me worse than him! :]

Thanks again for all the answers!

I have always done exactly what the doctor us regarding the sleeping arrangments. He sleeps in his crib that has a mattress and fitted sheet and that’s it. No stuffed animals, no blankets..etc. He is a year old now and I’m wondering if it’s okay to throw a blanket in there- he’s sleeping all through the night and wearing footed pajamas so he’s not getting cold or anything. It’s not like I’m trying to rush it I’m just wondering when do you finally let them sleep with blankets?

I posted a similar question about dressing a newborn in sleepwear, but my question now is if baby is wearing a t-shirt, diaper, socks, and a thin sleepsack or t-shirt, diaper, and fleece footed pajamas, would he need a blanket too? If so, should it be thin or thick? I have about 2 wks to go and I just want to be prepared. Thanks!
Or, should the sleepsack just serve as the blanket, in which case, he would wear a t-shirt, diaper, pants, and socks?
Thanks a bunch!
