Is it bad luck to start buying thing before you get out of your first trimester?

I found out I’m expecting a daughter and I can’t wait to go and buy a load of pink stuff the thing is I’m so worried about having a miscarriage. In my first trimester I had a lot of heavy bleeding and even passed clots and I’ve been worried ever since. When did u start buying baby clothes and do you think I’m safe to buy them at 22 weeks? So I am 14 weeks pregnant and now that we’ve made it through the first trimester and heard the heartbeat, we’ve started registering for stuff. It won’t be until next month that we find out the sex of the baby, but for right now, we’re registering for what we can.

Here is my question: there is SO much stuff in every category that I’m feeling like I spend all day looking at reviews for one item, just to find out if it’s any good or not. I’m looking for recommendations from you guys as far as what you like, what holds up, what is safe, and what isn’t 0 per item in the following categories:

Stroller
Car Seat
High Chair
Swing

These are the four hardest categories for me just because there are so many options. If, however, you have used something that isn’t in one of those categories and you think it is a must-have item, feel free to tell me!

I’m in my first trimester with my first baby.

When should I start shopping for baby stuff and how much stuff should I get?

What baby items are must-haves and what items (if any) can I put off until after the baby arrives or put off completely?

Also, how much newborn clothing should I have and how soon will the baby outgrow it?
