My mother in law gave me a pack of 2 g diapers but no inserts…. I wanted to know if anyone can give me the measurements of the cloth inserts for them so I can make them myself. Also, Can I make them out of like a towel fabric and then flannel on top? Or can I just use those flat diaper/burp cloths made by gerber as the inserts? thanks!
fyi, I dont use cloth diapers so I just want to try these out and see how it goes.
I am looking for people or who I should go to to have crib bedding made. Maybe even blankets. I want to pick out a fabric and have someone make it for me. How much would it be and who would I go to? Thanks
I’m just trying to get ideas for making a yoga mat bag… do you have some cool designs that you like, the construction, the pockets, the space, the fabric? Would you change anything on it? Thanks for the input..Namaste!
I want to make cloth baby wipes for may baby but I am clueless as to what fabric to use. Can someone please help?
So I am 12 yrs old. I have 2 baby blankets. They are the exact same blankets. They’re white, with multicolored patterns. For example there is pink plaid, yellow stripes, etc on 1 blanket (same things on both) . They also have finger-holes. I CANNOT and don’t want to give them up. they are falling apart and I need to know what fabric they are made of. I do not know who made them because they are so old and worn out. They are at least 12 yrs old because I have had them before I was born. No mean comments or I might report it!! Thanks SO much!
I’m using a square single piece of fabric and simply folding the raw edges over twice and ironing in place before I sew. What is the proper way of sewing the corners? Mine seem very thick and my sewing machine can barely get through the folds.
I’m obviously new at sewing, haha.
I had a friend pick out 3 types of fabric she liked and out of that I sewed her curtains, a valance, crib bumpers, a dust ruffle, burp rags, and basket liners. She said she doesnt want a matching quilt, so I was wondering what else could I do with the fabric that she could use for the room?
Today I got cute Winnie the Pooh fabric from Michael’s to make a baby blanket for my boyfriends sisters baby shower; I got two 24 inch x 1 yd pieces.
I was sort of aiming to make it a 1yd x 1yd no-sew blanket where you cut and tie the edges, but apparently the guy couldn’t cut a square like that, so…
*What are my options as to how I combine those two pieces into one baby blanket? (I do have a Singer sewing machine if necessary)
*Should I wash the fleece before I start making the blanket?
Any website that can show me how to make my own diapers? What kind of fabric for waterproof AIO’s and liners and things like that?
Actually "REAL" diapers are cloth diapers!!!
