I am writing a speech for my english homework i have wrote the start and the middle but i am completely stuck on the conclusion. I am against child and baby beauty pageant. Here is my speech ( it’s not very good) …

My speech is about Beauty pageants. Beauty pageants is also known as a beauty contest it is a competition which is mostly judged on physical beauty but it can also be judged by your talent and question responses as judged criteria. If you win the competition you will be called a “beauty Queen”. They have women beauty pageants, child beauty pageant and quite recently they have brought out baby beauty pageants.

I will talk about child beauty pageants and baby beauty pageants. I was horrified, seeing children with fake tan, cake loads of make up, and big frilly dresses. Children shouldn’t wear grown-up make-up and clothes to try to mimic adult behavior. How much is too much? Have you ever looked after a toddler or a baby? They never sit still do they? Well just imagine a pushy mum forcing a baby to wear a big frilly expensive dress and forced to sit there for a long period of time while a specialised hair styler does her hair. And she will have to endure photographs being taken of her. This is too much pressure on a child or a baby; they should be playing with toys and having fun! What may start out as fun event quiet often turned into a miserable experience for the child or baby. I can understand that it will boost the Childs confidents and they can also urn money. The mother could be using their cute little girl for money or living their own dreams through their child or maybe the child enjoys it. It could be a competitive, fun hobby for her. They say beauty pageants build a competitive spirit, help kids win money for college, and are simply wholesome fun. Most parents find that it builds up their Childs self-esteem, poise and grace. But she may think the Barbie look is innocent but she doesn’t understand that the only people who would be really admiring her are sex offenders and paedophiles.
