Huggies came out with a jeans theme of diapers and a special edition limited time wipe cover. I want to see if anyone has found or made a pattern using yarn to recreate a baby wipe cover. By either knitting it or crocheting it.

I have been invited to a baby shower for a friend who is having her second is as many years. People I have known in the past didn’t really have showers after the first, of if they did, they didn’t set up a registry and ask for gifts, instead they would ask for diapers or food for after the baby, but not 0 crib bumpers ect. But, it’s been a while and I was just wondering what the current etiquette is.

My LO is almost 8 months and when she runs out of the diapers she has now, im moving her up to a size 4! How old is your LO and what size diaper do they wear?

I’m experienced with buying girl things, since I have a daughter, but my mother-in-law and I are going baby shopping tonight for my unborn son. Our son is her last grandchild, so she wants to help out and spoil him as much as possible, which is very helpful to us since we have tons of expenses coming up in the next few weeks before he is born. All we have is Pink right now, and I’m not dressing my son in Pink.

Here is the list I’ve made of things to buy tonight:

Newborn Boy Snowsuit (he’s due in December)
Boy Shirts
Boy Pants
Newborn socks and Booties
Mitts
Newborn Hats
Newborn Sleepers
Diaper Shirts
Blue Flannel and Receiving Blankets
6 D-sized batteries for the swing
Hooded Bath Towels
Squirt Vaseline Container (we’re circumsizing him so the regular containers won’t be good when we have to coat his diaper with vaseline)
Shampoo
Soothers
Nightlight (for our daughter)

We have diapers coming out of our wazoo and wipes are constantly going through as well. We also already have plenty of bottles.

Is there anything on the list I should add or omit?

She already has great-grandchildren who are older than both my kids. My husband’s youngest sibling is 14 years older than he is. So because all of my husband’s sisters have had hysterectomies and most of their kids have kids of their own, they won’t be having anymore. My husband is her youngest at 28, and due to medical issues, we won’t be having anymore children after our son is born, which is why our son is her last grandchild.

Maybe it’s the way that I change myself or the diapers that I am currently using, but man this rash is p-a-i-n-f-u-l. What type of adult ointment would be best as I will most likely be in diapers for sometime. When I’m on this site, I am just not motivated enough to use the restroom when the need arises. Maybe that is addiction or just pure laziness…nevertheless, the adult diaper rash issue remains.

My daughter is 11 months and has diaper rash very bad, she trys to itch it. my girlfriends mom said it is yeast infection. the doctor gave us nystatin, and someone told us to try this aveeno baby bath stuff, but it is still red and raw i feel so bad for her.. it all started when we tryed pampers. anyone know wat else i can try?
we usually use LUVS but i had my grandpa run and grab us some diapers so he got pampers, im back to luvs now but just seems like nothing helping her.

My son is 27 months and I had been using the Cool Alert pants for potty training. After about a month of trying my son began complaining of pain in his "sensitive area" and I ended up having to take him to the hospital, doctor, and even have an ultrasound. When we finally realized that it was the diapers causing the problem, we switched diapers immediately. I’d like to know if anyone else had a similar issue and what action was taken after.
