Im having a hard time finding baby doll clothes for boy I need them for my prop box for the children at my daycare do you think preemie clothes will fit? Please help!

The daycare I want my future child to go to provides the formula and baby food, but they only provide similac advanced formula and only provide a particular brand of baby food. If my baby cant eat this brand, I will have to provide my own.

I know NOTHING about formula. What’s the advanced part of the name mean and how does similac generally compare to other brands and how does it do w/ babies birth to age 1? Thanks.

I’m a single Dad with 2 daughters (age 2 and 5 yrs old). I make decent money but It’s getting very difficult to pay for daycare for my youngest and after school care for my oldest. I receive no assistance from their mother and I can’t take her to court because she has nothing anyway. Does anybody know of any grants or programs I might beable to apply for to help pay for the childcare? Childcare + Rent + food + car payment + clothing, I don’t know if I can make it. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I bought some vinyl sleeping mats for my daycare, and I was wondering how I could personalize them with the childrens names but could be changed in case I get new kids? any suggestions?

My son just turned two in August. He hasnt had a bottle since he was a year. He doesnt have an attachment to anything more than his pacifier. Not a stuffed animal or blanket. Is he too old for a pacifier anymore and if so, what is the best way to take it away? Ive listen to alot of other 2 year olds at daycare and some seem to have alot better speech. I hate to take it away too soon but I dont want his teeth growing funny or him not to speak as well as other kids.

I need a baby gate for the bottom and the top of my stairs. I’ve just bought a new house and I;m trying to transfer my daycare Lic. They require that I have a secure gate at the top and bottom of my stairs flush w/the floor.

The problem is the house has wonderfull molding that makes it impossible for any gate to get flush with the floor.The bottom tension rod would fit, but the top rod would be too big and the gates all fall when you put pressure on them.

1. I can’t put the gate on the 2nd stair. Lic. says no.

2. I can’t affix anything to the wall that would make up the difference of the space. I asked already

Are there gates that affix to the wall, and go arround the door like an arc?

That gate from the 1st answer won’t work. Imagine crown molding along the wall of the doorway.
If I would have known that the crown molding would effect my side bussness, I woun;t have paid extra for it :/

My son is 9.5 months and still uses a pacifier for sleeping and sometimes in the car, although the daycare gives it to him more than I do, and lately we’ve also been giving it to him in the evenings because he’s teething badly.

But next year, the school does not allow them for his age group. I want to start breaking him of it now so that he’s not using it anymore after his first birthday. Does anyone know of some successful techniques?

How do you single parents do it. I have a 2 year old and i just gave birth to my duaghter 1 month ago. My husband is deployed and i am going insane i am stressed out to the max. I have my younger sister help me so i can take breaks but that seams to do nothing. I can only ask her for her help so much she is only 18. How do you guys relaxe get control of your life i need help before i go insane. any suggestions to make my life easier. My younger duaghter is going into daycare when she turns 6 weeks becuase i am also in the military and have to go back to work. My two year old will stay at home like she has been with my younger sister. PLease HELP
I am not complaning i love m children and am enjoying them. I actually look up to singleparents now becuase when i decided to have kids with my husband i didn’t know he would be gone for most of there life. I am 22 kinda young i would say to have 2 kids yes there are people that have kids younger. I didn’t ask for you to critisize me becuase i am stressed i asked for ways to help. So thank you to all that answered my question and for you that decided to tell me what bad parent i am good luck to you and you life looks like you have some anger problems.
I am not complaining i am asking on how other single parents do this. becuase this is new to me. I did not ask for my husband to be deployed the month after i gave birth and i did not ask for him to be gone until she turns 1 but i am asking what single parents do to make it esier on them if i wanted to complain i would suggest yahoo creat a complaine section but i clicked the ask section thank you again for those who have supported my question. I have since created a schedual and it works a little better of course there are those things i don’t expect to happen happen but so far so good also i have taken the advise given on let the simple thing slide like cleaning the house to perfection even though it bothers me it does give me some more time to enjoy my children.

My daughter will be two in a few weeks and we were wanting to get her away from the pacifier. She is in daycare and she goes all day w/o it (even at nap) but the minute she gets in the car she wants it. Also we have a 3 month old who has one so she will constantly be seeing her sister’s pacifier. Any suggestions?

So back in 2009 I filed for child support (CS) and my childs father was ordered to pay 6 a month … at the time when CS was checking his employment it appeared that he had 2 jobs so they came up with 6 which I thought was a little high. In reality he had recently been fired from one job and idk about the other …. so anyway long story short the 6 was a default judgement because he never disputed the amount … they placed a levy on his account after a few months and he then HAD to go up to CS and now we are set up for court dates

My question – What is the likely outcome in court if he has no job to even pay support?? Will I have to drop it?? Will the judge order for him to pay a small amount even if its or something??

I know he has not been looking for a job and has another baby on the way

All I want is for him to help out financially a little bit … before I filed for CS I asked him for 0 which is only half of daycare! I didnt ask for clothes, food, etc … and my daughter is on my medical … I dont think I asked for much!! I even told him that we could talk about an amount he can afford and he just is not budging … so then Im like well what about 0 a month … still nothing so he’d rather 6 (whcih is already at K arrears) still be calculating than to talk to me about 0. He has no job but I do know for a fact he has income which is further upseting that I cant prove it!
