We are going to a family reunion next month where the three grandchildren from my dad’s side of the family will be together for the first time. We want to get pictures done and we don’t want the children to look identical, but we want them to look good together.
Places like Gymboree and Old Navy have cute stuff for girls, but I can’t find a matching boy outfit. Another problem we have is the girls are size 12 months and the boy is 2T.
Any ideas?

I want unique really cute stuff. Not like target or walmart or places like that. I have already been shopping there. I have searched everywhere and can’t find ruffled diaper covers. Anyone know where I can find those?

I hate stuff with the animals and cars on it. I have been to Childrens Place, Gymboree, Gap, Ect and it is all stuff with cars and ugly designs.
I have to go online or to get stuff that is good. My son is 2 months and we are looking for brands like Coogi, Mecca, Akademiks, Ecko, Phat Farm. We love Coogi but, can’t seem to find a store that sells them. We are in Seattle.
Let me know if you know of a place that sells cute stuff. Also looking for shoes I am tired of Jordans any other similar looking brands or even retro looking athletic shoes.
The main reason I like to get high end stuff is because it has a higher re-sale value so I can get more new clothing.

I want my baby to look cute. In a really cute baby girl dress. Everyone keeps telling me to just have her in a cute onsie something comfortable. But i just want her to look like a princess. Is it okay to put her in a cute dress or it it too uncomfortable for her? Are you going to put yours in cute stuff or comfortable clothes?
Due July 25th. first time mom. with a baby girl.

I have gotten some really cute stuff by Carters, First Impressions and Absorba.
Apathetic – Bad day? The reason I like them is that they are cute and made well. Lighten up!

So I know that I am not the only one who has a problem shopping for boy clothing. Other moms on here have mentioned it before too. Any store you go in- there is ALWAYS more and better girl clothing. Now I don’t know about you other moms- But I LOVE to shop and dress my 15 month old up. I love for stuff to match. If I have the money then I do it. But goodness gracious it’s like pulling teeth if you want cute clothes around here! I mean don’t get me wrong- I have found cute stuff but there is just always more options for girls. AND they have girl stores specifically for GIRL clothing. NOT BOYS! Go to the mall- theres Limited Too and Justice. Where are the boy stores?
So here it is- I want to open my own boy clothing store. LOL. Who thinks it’s a good idea? But I also want to design my own clothes since theres hardly anything cute around. Would you shop in my store? How do I go about doing this..!? LOL Maybe I should start designing first and get them to sell in other stores- then open my own store up? It would have newborn, infant, toddler clothing.
Name for the store-
Just For Boyz ?
Boyz Only ?
Simply Boyz ?
Limited Boys ? LOL
Just Blue ?
Any other suggestions?
I KNOW! walmart has an AWFUL selection of boy shoes and clothing to be honest. I was there lastnight and couldnt find a thing!
But they have very cute girl clothes.
haha a treehouse theme would be super cute!
proudmom- yeah i shop at baby gap
i just bought a winter hat there. its cute. but they are limited too. only will find a couple things i like thats it.

Do you shop on craigslist.com? What about yard sales / garage sales? Do you accept hand me downs? Or do you buy everything new? If you do buy everything new, where do you buy from?
I have bought some clothing from craigslist before my daughter was born in sizes that are still too big for her. I have accepted many hand me downs and I have also bought my daughter a few brand new things from Target, JcPenny and the Childrens place. I know have realized just how quickly she grows and know that she cannot possible wear all of the clothes that I have for her.
I end up putting the stuff that I bought on her, rather than taking it back just because I think it’s cute which is rather silly. I should save my money! Now that summer is approaching, I hope to snag some good deals at flea markets and yard/garage sales.
Do you keep all of your childrens clothing in storage incase you plan to have another? Do you keep some (the cute stuff) and pass the rest among friends/sell at yard sales? I have no idea what to do with all of these clothes that I have for her, but do plan on having another child or two down the road.
Sorry for all the questions. Im just curious, and bored at work

the weather is SO UNPREDICTABLE here. we could have 4 foot of snow, or it could be 60 degrees and sunny. i’m having a hard time deciding what sizes to buy for clothing. the doctor is GUESSING the baby will weigh around 8 pounds (based on ultrasound measurements).
no doubt about it, the weather will be MUCH nicer by mid June. if i buy newborn-3 month sizes will that get me up to the middle of June… and then buy 3-6 month sizes to get from mid-June through the end of August? i want to shop before all of the cute stuff is gone… it’s bad enough that the stores have already clearanced out all of the winter stuff anticipating summer… ANY HELP would be appreciated!
