What are some stores that have cute clothes for young women that also have a line of clothing for children and babies? For example, Marc Jacobs has Little Marc Jacobs, J.Crew had Crew Cuts, American Eagle has 77 kids, Boden has Mini Boden. Are there any other places like this? It’s fun every once in a while to pay a little extra for some cute outfits for kids. =)

I keep seeing all these cute pics online of babies dressed in cute outfits. My midwife says they require you to stay a minimum of 1 night in the hospital, so my question is… do I provide the clothes and diapers my baby will wear during that time, or does the hospital provide all that for baby to borrow? Same with blankets, do they provide those? And diapers?
Also, who changes the diapers while you are in the hospital? Does a nurse come in, or do you do it? Large babies and c-sections run in my family, so I wonder how you would change the baby immediately following birth if you did under go surgery…. I know my husband won’t be at the hospital the WHOLE time, but he will be there most of the time… Do the nurses change your baby if you need?

I have a lot of very gracious friends who have either previously had daughters, or just love picking out cute outfits for my daughter as gifts. So, every holiday, I end up with a collection of festive clothing that are too big for her, because everyone (including myself, sometimes lol) wants to "be safe" and buys things a size or two bigger than age recommendation.
Now she has a heaping collection of Christmas, St. Patty’s, Valentines (etc) outfits that she’s either just now starting to fit into, or is nowhere close to fitting into. She was actually even born after the Christmas season (in January), yet so many people gave me hand-me-downs or freshly bought Christmas outfits when I was pregnant. hah, now she even has ones that she probably won’t fit in until this summer, and they would really be too hot to wear by that time.
What do you do with all of the extra outfits? haha, it seems like my daughter is always wearing some kind of snowflake outfit nowadays, and some of the Christmas outfits probably won’t even fit until this summer. But I feel bad having all of this money and thought go to a lost cause.

My neighbor just had a baby, a sweet baby boy. She’s a single mother, possibly struggling financially and I gave her an almost brand new high chair. My son must have sat in it three times all together. Its clean and looks brand new. She gladly accepted it and thanked me profusely.
The reason I gave it to her is because I’ve been cleaning my closets and I came across it. I felt bad about throwing it away so I offered.
I have a lot of clothes from my toddler and they’re basically all brand new. I bought good brands such as baby Gap and as you all know, that quality is real quality.
I have a lot of really cute outfits that look brand new and are not stained at all.
My question is, do you think she’ll accept the clothes as well as she accepted the high chair. I don’t want to offend her in any way.
I offered the high chair because its an item that isn’t worn obviously and it something impersonal whereas clothes are personal and some parents have certain feelings about clothing their kids in other kids’ clothing.
Do you think I should offer her the clothes as well?
I would really love to help her out. I’d rather give HER the clothes than donate them. I would of course still donate them if she refused them.
What do you think?

I’m 17 weeks and have already put on weight in my hips and thighs, which means I stopped fitting in to my normal size clothes a while ago. About two years ago I was pretty over weight and had lost a lot of weight (down to a size
before I got pregnant. Its like as SOON as I became pregnant the weight started pouring back on me. It is so depressing to see all my hard work go down the drain. I bought some maternity clothes online and when they got here they were way too big and just made me look frumpy. And it makes it that much harder coming to work every day and seeing size 4 women parading around in front of me in their cute outfits. What makes it worse is my stomach has definitely gotten bigger, but its in this weird shape. Its not totally round yet so it kind of just looks like I’m chunky and not pregnant. My husband says he still finds me attractive and we are both so happy and excited about our baby. I’m just finding it harder and harder to be excited about being pregnant because of this weight. And before anyone gets the wrong idea, I’m not one of those superficial women who gets all torn up over gaining 2 pounds. I’ve already put on nearly 20 pounds and this is just so depressing to me because I worked so hard to get all that weight off. Anyone else going through anything like this? How do you cope?

Before I had my son I would see such cute outfits in the store. But now, I can’t find anything! And it’s even worse when it comes to dress shoes. I was trying to find black shoes for my son the other day. I went to JC Pennys who only had two to choose from, which didn’t fit. Meanwhile there were like 15 little girls(yeah I’m exaggerating). I went to every store I could find but ended up ordering them on line. Just hope they fit. It just gets frustrating when I’m trying to find something for church and all I can find are shorts, T-shirts and sandals, you know?
