I am planning my sisters babyshower and going with the "laundry" line theme…I am hanging up a clothes line with clothes, filling a laundry basket with baby stuff, hanging the handmade christening gown from an antique drying rack, possibly using recycled laundry containers as vases. We are using blues and yellows as colors…it’s a boy!! Can anyone add any cute ideas to my theme? I’d SO appreciate it!!!

I have so many cute ideas for decorations on baby clothes, but i have no patterns to make the actual clothes. Does anyone know where i can find free patterns to make baby onesies, dresses, shorts, overalls,etc????

I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and my cousin has a baby shower comming up in 3 weeks. My husband and I have not told anyone the news yet. All the women in my family will be there. Everyone will be thrilled with the news so Im not worried about any negative reaction. Im sure my cousin will not have a problem with it, but I will check with her just to make sure. Dont want her to feel like Im taking any attention away from her. Any cute ideas on how I can do this? Thanks.

I’m planning a co-ed baby shower for my cousin and her husband and she loves the idea of a candy theme. They are from Miami so she loves all the bright flashy colors! I’m pretty sure that’s why she picked that theme.

I figured I can give lollipops as party favors, make candy apples, and decorate wine bottles filled with candy for cute centerpieces, but that’s about as creative as I’m getting right now. Do you have any cute ideas for food and drinks?

I have just decided that I am going to have a baby shower for my baby due in May. I need cute ideas for decorating/games, anything like that. Also, I don’t need much, so would it be okay to just ask for diapers or clothes from the guests?
I am not throwing the baby shower for myself, but it will be at my house. I was just asking for suggestions.

And for the person who asked, I am due May 16 but since I have gestational diabetes they will probably induce me a bit early.
