While moving, the crib mattress got rained on. Now, I know baby mattresses are covered in the plastic and are supposed to be water proofed. But the Sealy mattress has an opening at the end, you can’t take the cover off it’s just a small opening in the plastic cover to allow breathing I guess. Should I go on and replace the mattress or will it be fine?

I keep seeing crib mattress/pads like this on this website. No one ever comments about them though. They’re all older posts though so no one probably checks them anymore.

Are they just foam pads? Are they safe? What about sheets?

so I’ve had my sons mattress since he has basically been born so I was curious when should I change it he’s 17 months old and It seems to still be in good condition but in the one side its kind of sunk in.

We’re about to buy our little guy [2 1/2] a toddler bed.

His crib mattress is pretty worn, and we’re up in the air about which brand of mattress to buy.

I am looking for a shorter crib mattress for my dog. He has arthritis, and will be going in for surgery soon. I wanted to find him an inexpensive bed, and thought a crib mattress would be a good idea. However they are quite long. I was looking for something about 1/2 the length. Has anyone heard of anything like this, or know of a good cheap alternative for a firm supporting bed?

do i switch the crib’s mattress or use the same one? i think the crib mattress might be too hard, but i dont know. my son usually sleeps w/ us, so is use to a softer mattress.
