A coworker is throwing a baby shower for this other gal who works with us. I’m invited. I’m really terrible on the socializing with coworkers part of the job. Can I bring my boyfriend to it?
I am making a diaper cake for my coworker’s baby, but the baby spent the first few months of her life in the hospital, so her shower comes when she is 4 or 5 months old. What size diapers does an average 6-month-old wear? That is the diaper size I will use for the cake.
OK, my mother wants to drive three hours in a car across the state to this ugly beach town that is, well, one of those city’s retired people go to. Besides a beach there is…nothing else to do. Except visit overpriced boutiques where the only children’s clothes they sell make you want to pinch your childs cheeks. By the way their is only one childrens boutique. Shudder. Besides the town, which is by the way SANIBEL FLORIDA YUCKYUCK, riding for three hours in a car with my grandma & mom, is like, freaking torture. They never talk to anyone in the backseats and just blab on about politics. THE ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE THAT CAR RIDE IS A CHEX MIX OF DRUGS, let me tell you. So, in order to cancel this vacation bound for hell, how can I get sick fast? PS I am doing my mother a favor. All of us will complain after there is nothing to do and just end up fighting. I mean I gotta be SICK for her to cancel this..HEEELLPPPP MEEEE
mmmm no i won’t suck it up. lol. my mother has ditched us for a week to go to central america and drink beers all day with a coworker, then this month she ditched us again to go to an unofficial school reunion. of course she drank with her friends there. so no, i’m not sucking it up anymore. she has kids, and as much as she’d like to go and do things she did in her twenties, she can’t right now. maybe next year, but I think that, like, two weeks of vacation time within three months of each other is enough for right now and she should listen to what we would like to do. which is not go looking for seashells.

My sister is having a baby shower for one of her friends,and would like to invite a coworker,who happens to be a Jehovah’s Witness,but is not sure if it would be ok for her to come.(My sister is Roman Catholic,by the way).
My office is pooling some cash together to get our coworker a gift for her new baby. She has 3 sons already, and this is her first girl – kind of (she had a daughter who passed as an infant). She says she already has everything including clothes. I’d rather get her something more personal than a gift card – any ideas?
I have a coworker that is pregnant with her 2nd child. For her 1st baby, we did a baby shower for her. Do we have to do a shower for her 2nd baby? I just want to know what the customary thing to do is. Thanks

I know I have been very lucky with baby clothes and have not yet HAD to buy anything. I got hand me down from my SIL, one of my mom’s coworker’s grandaughter’s hand me downs and to make this sound more complicated my husband’s stepbrother’s wife’s friends daughter’s clothes. It’s strange because we don’t know two of the people we are getting clothes from, I am very, very grateful. But what I would be paying if/when i have to start buying clothes?
A coworker gave me the cutest things for my baby that are gently used. Some of the onesies have a yellowish stain around the collar from formula spilling on it. Please help! I really wana use the clothes but don’t want the stains. Thanks.
I was invited to a baby shower for a coworker for next month, but I have never been to one. What is the basic etiquette? They are registered at Babies R Us. Should I buy something from that store to take to the shower? Or am I supposed to order something online and they’d ship it directly to them? Is there an appropriate amount to spend? Please help me with anything you may know.
