My nephew’s wife is expecting as is a cousin of hers on her side of the family, so that side of her family is throwing a joint baby shower. I do not know the other girl at all and was only planning to take a gift for my nephew’s wife. Is that ok?
I have another week before I can test but I truly believe that I am pregnant…I have alot of symptoms.
However I plan on announcing my Pregnancy on Mothers day.,,But something came to my mind.
When My cousin announced her pregnancy, everyone went out and got her Cute Little baby oneies(that the baby could not wear because she grew to fast)…She was having the First Grand baby on her side of the family..My Mom was really excited and bought alot of stuff.
Knowing how that went and knowing that me and my husbands baby will be the first on Both Side of our Family, How do I keep my mom and MIL from going out and buying cute little baby outfits?

When we got engaged,
My MIL went out and bought a bunch of dishes and things that we never used…I just don’t want my Mom and MIL going crazy with stuff.
Yes I believe I am pregnant, showing symptoms like vomiting, sore breast…
Just waiting to test..Thats all.
My Mom actually bought some baby stuff a few weeks ago. She had a "Mothers Sense" that something was going on. But I have not told her anything yet.
And it’s sunday and no stores around us are open…
i use baby oil to take off my eyemakeup every night and ive been doing it for like 2 years already but i mentioned it to my cousin and she says it might be bad.
so is it bad for my eyes?
My aunt is CONVINCED that i have no clothes that will fit my soon-to-be daughter. She claims that my cousin (who was about 7lbs at birth) would fit nothing but "preemie" clothes for months. When i told her that all the (millions) of clothes i have for her are 0-3 and 3-6 months, she basically freaked out. Now today, she just brought over 5 outfits in "preemie" size. I appreciate her concern, but would an average size baby (say 7-8 lbs at birth) really fit into such tiny clothes? The tags say "up to 5lbs or 18 inches."
it was so sweet of her to buy the new clothes, and they are SOO cute, but i will feel awful when/if they don’t fit….

i don’t think it is! i think if you have two baby showers with the same man that you either dont have money for it or you just trying to get the family attention. my cousin is having a baby shower with the same man for the third time.

My cousin who lives on the opposite side of the country as I do is having a baby shower this weekend and I can’t be there. Even though I haven’t seen her in person in years, I would like to send a card. Would that be too weird?? If not, what kind of card should I send and what should I write in it? Might include a babies r us gift card as well.

I’m writing an email to my cousin in Japan and I’m trying to figure out how to tell her that a mutual friend of ours is pregnant and that I am throwing a baby shower for her. Help? I just don’t want to say a "baby shower" if she doesn’t know what it is and my Japanese isn’t good enough to explain it. (My cousin doesn’t speak or read English very well, so I usually have to write her in broken Japanese.)
A cousin of mine learned she was expecting, and I was just wondering how far along a woman normally is into her pregnancy, before being given a baby shower.
My husbands aunt and cousin are planning my baby shower for April 14th, but I think its a little to late, because by then I’ll be 36 weeks. Do you guys think thats to late? Or is it fine?
