I wash all of my daughters clothes and bedding in Dreft baby detergent. I took out some "clean" burp cloths to use and I placed it on my shoulder and realized that it smelled like spit-up! Is that detergent TOO gentle? Give me some feedback!!

I know I’m a little late in packing my bag but… I’m not in labor yet so… I guess not too late. =) I was wondering if I need to pack burp cloths and receiving blankets or if the hospital will provide them? If anyone wants to include what they packed and actually used…. That would be great as well…. I’m going through my nesting and I cannot stop doing everything. =) thanks everyone!

I have tons of baby clothes and am unsure what I should ask for them.
Tell me how these prices sound:
Thin onesies: $.50
Jeans and nice shirts:
Sleepers with feet:
Baggie of 10 pairs of socks
5 Burp cloths
Winnie the pooh crib set (bumper, comforter, sheet, organizer, dust ruffle)
I also have a king size comforter set (sheets, dust ruffle, pillows, pillow cases, and comforter)—
Thanks!

I am their full time nanny. I have only been with this family for a month. They are new parents with a 4 month old. I am getting the baby personalized burp cloths and personalized pacifiers. They just moved to a new house. Both parents are label people (ONLY expensive brands) and they have everything they want… what should I get them???

I would like to dye burp cloths and onesies for a baby shower gift. I am assuming RIT dye would not be a good choice to use as they could be too harsh for a baby. Any thoughts on how to go about this?? I have never made natural dyes from plants and teas, but would be interested if anyone knows about this. Thank you.

I was given a couple of burp cloths made from Circo cloth diapers. I don’t think these were sold as burp cloths because they are embroidered. I know that Target carries Circo products. Does anyone know if they sell regular cloth diapers made by circo? These are much nicer diapers than the gauze or birdseye weave. If we had a Target here, I’d just go by and see for myself, but our closest Target is an hour away. And they aren’t on the website.
TIA
one of them actually appears to be stamped with 2 small dolphins and "I love mommy", the other one has "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" on it. The embroidery takes up no more than 4" on each one.

I would like to dye my soon to be baby boys cloth diapers blue, I can’t get over how much more it costs to buy them already dyed. Anyhow I will be using the dyed diapers as burp cloths not as diapers (using Fuzzi Bunz for that). Serious answers only please… Thanks!

I’m expecting my first, and I originally wrote down burp cloths on my list of items to be sure and buy. The discount store here has these fleece blankets that are a dollar. Would it be fine for me to buy a few of those to use as burp clothes instead?? Thanks.
oh and how many will I need?
