I have taken an interest in buying second-hand clothing (especially for my toddler) because I feel there is less of an impact on our world. Of course they MUST be in good used condition or better.

Not only is it more affordable, but it reduces the use of resources, pollution from manufacturing new clothing, and gas emissions from shipping these large loads to clothing stores.

I understand that if we all did this there would be no clothes left, but do you agree this is a good practice?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other cute clothing stores for toddlers..other than GAP, Old Navy, Hannah Anderssen, Mini Boden, Pumpkin Patch, Gymboree, Childrens Place or J.Crew Crewcuts. I know that names most of them, but I’m on the look out for something traditional or unique that I haven’t come across. Thanks for any suggestions!

My baby is 6 weeks old and she doesn’t quite fit her 0-3 months clothes. She can fit in her t-shirts, but not the pants. She is about 9 1/2 pounds right now and a little over 22 inches. I know she’s longer then the average baby is. But it’s starting to get cold and her pants fall off of her when I try them on. Is their any baby clothing stores that have pants that should fit her? I’ve tried babysrus, gymboree, baby gap… Nothing works. It’s starting to get cold… Does this mean she’ll be wearing sleepers for a while and long sleeve tshirts? Any suggestions?

My daughter has just had a growth spurt and is now in 4T clothing, I shop at a lot of 2nd hand clothing stores & have noticed that 4T and 4x are mixed in together. (as well as xxsmall) Is there a difference? I know that in department stores & stuff, the 4T is in the infant/toddler section and the 4x is in the little girls’ section but is there a structural difference? Thanks!

I’m a new mommy and not sure of all the name brand baby clothing stores.

I live in a small town and mostly buy my daughters clothes from Wal Mart…(not that theres anything wrong with Wal Mart, I LOVE it) But I’m just tired of shopping there and want to find some cute baby clothes!!

I have heard of Baby Gap but that’s about it

I’m searching for an adult baby clothing store that will make a party dress design using a photo and also accepts money order as a method of payment…(I’m not looking for cross dressing clothing stores) I do not own a credit card or web payment methods such as Paypal.

Someone’s question made me think about this. I can go to stores like TJ Maxx and Marshall and see racks and racks of Phat Farm, Baby Phat, Fubu, Marc Ecko, Sean John, Apple Bottoms, etc. clothing for dirt cheap. These clothes all have rather pricey stickers out of the factory. Why do all these black inspired, focused, what have you clothing bottom out and end up in these discount clothing stores in masses. In the same stores you can find .00 Ralph Lauren polos sell for .00, and then see a 0.00 (no joke) Baby Phat purse sell for .00

So, from observation of many stores, such as, Target, Babies-R-Us and USA Baby I have found that there are more options for baby girls. There are not as many choices and options for baby boys, that portion of the store is usually very small. Any ideas as to why this is?
These are all great ideas…keep them coming!! Has anyone thought about this before when walking through clothing stores? Am I the only one?

I’ve grown tired of racing stripe tees, solid tees, "witty" sayings tees, and the same ol’ solid polo shirts from BabyGap and the rest of the chain baby clothing stores. There’s NOTHING that I like. At. All.

Where can I find fun toddler boy clothes that are classic, a little artsy and creative, yet not too expensive?
